今日届いたマイク、ペパトラを付けたQuest3の「ココ」にマグネットで丁度付くようになってるの、この為に設計されたのかってぐらい完璧でビビった。口のトラッキングの邪魔にもならないし凄い

Many of you have asked if Paper_Tracker will support Steam Frame. Yes!

We’re developing a dedicated face tracker for its PCIe expansion port, plus a native client for Steam Frame’s ARM64, Arch-based SteamOS.

We’re discussing more details with Valve. More news next month!

The second Paper_Tracker Early Bird pre-order opens in less than 5 days!
#Paper_Tracker
Pre-orders will officially open on September 19 at 22:00 Beijing Time / 14:00 UTC.
https://t.co/cA4bLa2aBM
You can already visit the Paper_Tracker store and add your preferred kit, headset version, and accessories to your cart in advance.

If you need prescription lenses for nearsightedness or astigmatism, we also recommend submitting your prescription details ahead of time. Once reviewed, you can add your custom lenses to the cart together with your Paper_Tracker setup.

That way, once pre-orders go live, you can proceed to checkout more quickly without having to configure everything at the last minute.

This second Early Bird batch will include the updated hardware and PowerHub 2.0, with all orders scheduled to ship together in December.

Get your cart ready — see you on September 19!

@Kabir73706430 We do have an automatic calibration system. It adapts and corrects the tracking based on the user’s actual facial features, so manual calibration parameters are generally not required. Facial asymmetry is also taken into account during the calibration process.

We’ve been busy with the final rounds of sample iteration and validation before mass production, but took a little time to record the current tracking performance.

This clip mainly shows the stability and accuracy of mouth tracking. In the next few days, we’ll also share a separate demo for eye and eyebrow tracking, including wide eyes, surprise, single-eyebrow raises, and frowning.

Paper_Tracker uses a fully in-house workflow across hardware, algorithms, and software, allowing us to optimize the entire system together while keeping setup as simple as possible.

No manually drawing ROIs.
No tracking-region setup.
No repeated calibration or parameter tweaking.
Install it, put it on, and start using it.
We’re still refining the production version and will continue sharing more real-world demos and development updates.

Huge thanks to Jacobfov for such a detailed review of Paper_Tracker! Really appreciate the time you put into showing the hardware and all the little details.

One small update: the upcoming version uses wider-FOV eye-tracking cameras, so you can wear the headset closer to your eyes while sacrificing less headset FOV.

It still can’t feel exactly like native eye tracking — the cameras do physically need to see your eyes — but we’ve pushed this about as far as we can from an engineering standpoint.

Thanks again for the great video!
