“Ten seconds in the saddle is better than a lifetime of watching from the stands; better to ride and get thrown than to wind up wishing you had;” I heard that in a song called Ten seconds in the saddle by Chris ledoux; thought someone like me could use it
April 30, 2019 Inside Kennedy Hall at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, students were sitting in class when Trystan Terrell opened fire. Chaos exploded, but 21 year old Riley Howell did not run.
Instead he charged straight at the shooter and tackled him. Riley was shot, but he stopped the momentum of the attack long enough for others to escape.
Classmates later said his actions saved their lives. He died on the classroom floor. He was 21.
236 students are alive because of his actions .
Some people train their whole lives to be this brave. Riley didn't need to train, it was in his heart. ❤️
Please remember and honor those who stand up against evil….
Despite brutal persecution, Iran is home to one of the fastest-growing Christian movements on earth. According to missionary groups and a 2020 GAMAAN survey, over 1 million Iranians now identify as Christian, many of them former Muslims.
These underground believers worship in secret, often risking torture or death.
What fuels the movement? Dreams and visions of Jesus (often reported through many islamic countries) without Western missionaries or buildings.
Persia will be Christian.
