On Saturday, May 30th, 2026, our neighborhood said goodbye to Joe Negri just days before what would have been his 100th birthday on June 10th. We are so grateful for his life and legacy.

Top-ranked Jannik Sinner is OUT of the French Open, dropping 18 of the last 20 games en route to a second-round loss to 56th-ranked Juan Manuel Cerundolo.

He appeared to struggle with the heat at the match, going from one game away from victory to finding himself out of the tournament in the second round.

Jannik Sinner is being seen by the physio in the 3rd set against Cerundolo at Roland Garros.

He was up 5-1.

The score is now 5-4, 0-40 with Jannik serving for the match…

Jannik: “If I give time away, how does it work now? I can’t do it. I cannot wait.”

Umpire: “if you can’t wait it depends on what you have. Either you get a time violation, and after, it’s a code violation. Then otherwise we need to see with the physio what it is.”

Jannik: “I don’t know if it’s dehydration.”

Umpire: “It’s up to you. It’s either we call the physio now, they check on you, then we resume play.”

Jannik also said he felt dizzy.

He walked off court to be seen by the physio.

He’s won 1 of the last 17 points.
