So sad to hear about Terry Hall. I love so much of his music, but this album, with Mushtaq, in its entirety, is one of my all time favourites. #terryhall #mushtaq https://t.co/vKFcbCZYGP

@RealHughJackman This is my Scotland.

@ZaraKesterton @UofGlasgow Oh wow. I'd love to hear how you are doing. I'll email you in the next couple of days. X

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

@ZaraKesterton @UofGlasgow Thank you. It was a long long time coming! My turn to graduate in June and you'll be starting your PhD in January? I'm so excited for you.

I'm two weeks late with this because I have been sleeping face down recovering, but I've handed in my dissertation! It has been hard work, but I can honestly say I have loved every minute of it. Thank you @SallyTuckett for the most wonderful experience.

@MinistryofQuiz Poison.

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

@PastGlasgow This is wonderful. For my dissertation I'm research the Crums who lived there in around the 1800s to 1830s.

Yesterday we lost my sister-in-law, Helen, only 18 months after my brother. They leave behind two daughters, 19 and 21. It shouldn't be like this. Heartbroken.

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

@gavinesler The consequences.

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

The worst thing about writing my dissertation is realising that after a morning of writing, only one sentence is worth keeping. With edits.

As a kid I was told I couldn't practice martial arts because I was a girl. I got my karate black belt when I was 36. I am so glad things are different now. This wee girl is jawdroppingly good. What a martial arts future she has!

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

@thehistoryguy That is when the cotton printing industry I am currently researching took a dive. It never recovered.

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

@MaconStStudio It is spectacularly bad. Worse there is mention of bringing Johnson back. I'm in need of much chocolate now. A lot of chocolate.

@DrJaninaRamirez Mine has announced he's dressing as a tory mp for Halloween as it's the scariest thing he can think of.

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

My 16yo has 2 Halloween parties this year. This morning he announced that he is going as the scariest thing he can think of, a tory MP. At least the conservatives are getting kids interested in politics.

@MaddyPelling I've always had it down as a pale minty green. The 19th century is indigo blue, giving way to lemon yellow in the 1880s.

@ninabake2 @GC_Archives It's such a shame, but there is one in Eastwood Old Cemetery, just on the right hand side as you walk in the gate

[Tracy Harrison Butler @TracyButlerArt]

In my happy place. Glasgow City Archives, delving into the Crum Papers. @GC_Archives

@bluecandy805 @audible_com Sandman! Nothing better!
