On September 22–23, leaders from Africa's higher education institutions, the African Union, governments, financial institutions, industry partners, and young people came together in Accra, Ghana, for the inaugural Higher Education Transformation Convening, hosted by the Mastercard Foundation.
Together, they explored what a relevant, high-quality, impactful, and sustainable higher education system should deliver for Africa’s young people.
The Convening also marked the first Africa Higher Education for Transformation (AHEFT) Prize Award Ceremony, recognizing institutions advancing institution-wide transformation.

“#Inclusivity will only work if educators embrace open-mindedness – the moment you have that, you will appreciate #diversity. You will be more flexible, and you will accommodate every learner’s needs.”

@DavidGeurin I would say EVERY individual in their various walks of life need to persue growth especially that knowledge and operating contexts are never static!
Every educator should relentlessly pursue growth. Not because they’re ineffective, or uninformed, or deficient in some way.
Pursue growth because no matter how great you are you can be even better. Imagine what might be possible if every educator is learning and growing.
