@kukuruyo Yeah, and that's not even including the fact of the translator trying to tie the manga to drakenier stuff for no reason (like naming the combat roles after android types instead of properly translating)
@Eostre117@JaiceYgo86184 I've meant it in a way that she needs to acknowledge her wrongdoings, sensei won't be able to do anything if she doesn't. You can't help a person that doesn't want help
@LamotouThe@BoundaryBreak "people didn't know pixels existed" was made up by OP, never seen anyone actually saying that in discussion of CRT blur stuff.
Games were made blocky, but it also clearly wasn't the end goal, as devs were constantly looking for workarounds to add more detail or smoothness
@lewkaw >freedom of artistic expression is inherently progressive
Hate to break it to you, but modern progressive rhetoric is actually extremely pro-censorship
@Rotonek1@FailsalotSir@ZZZanonproxy Calling out doesn't do anything either. They and their ilk have no shame, and normies just don't care about any of this. They can only be forcefully driven out on platforms that have actual zero tolerance towards such behaviors. Twitter is not that platform
@Fleshsqueeze Gachas are not the reason for death of visual novels, more of a symptom.
Real reason is Sony and Nintendo killing off Japanese AA industry (look how many VNs and similar games used to be on consoles in 2000-2010s) while pushing for western standards and style
@ninjabidensigma@RoytaMustDie DMC 3 and 5 don't have that out of the box either. Having to input a hidden cheat code doesn't sound like "intended experience" to me
