A small update to this journey.
I used my first $284 payout to purchase a Lucid Direct 50K account.
From today forward, I'll be documenting two accounts:
📊 Tradeify Funded 25K
📊 Lucid Direct 50K
I'm also making one change...
I'll keep sharing my daily P&L, trades, risk, and mental notes, but I'm not going to track or post my running total P&L for the next 30 trading days.
I want my focus on execution—not the scoreboard.
We'll see where the process takes us on Day 30.
Slow and Steady.
No trades today.
My AL @ PMH model showed up on MES this morning—15-min ORB closed above PMH, then pulled back to the 13 EMA.
I was away from my desk and missed the entry. When I came back, price had already moved, and I honestly didn’t want to chase it.
So I closed the platform and walked away.
0 trades today. The model was there. I just missed it.
Slow and steady. 🐢
Tough trading day today. -$211.
Bigger loss than I planned. I got a little frustrated with the PA, especially the divergence between MNQ and MES, and ended up getting caught in the chop.
Account progress: -6% (-$179)
Not every day is going to be clean. Take the loss, review it, and come back tomorrow.
Slow and steady. 🐢
New challenge: Road to $3,000 payout.
50K funded account.
🟢 Day 1: +$32
Daily accountability. P&L, wins, losses—all on YouTube.
The journey starts today.
Slow and steady. 🐢
@SooTrades I thought for a moment this was a Globex/overnight trade, but I see it was during NY. Risking small enough that you’re comfortable letting the winner breathe makes a lot of sense
@SooTrades Thank you, Soo. I think stepping away from posting for a bit helped me realize I need to focus less on the results and more on getting myself and my process right again. I’m going to take it slow and work through it
I went quiet for a little while because I've been struggling with my funded accounts.
The pattern has been frustrating.
I'll make good, slow progress for a week or two, then have one heavy loss/tilt day that sets me right back.
The good news: I haven't lost any of my funded accounts.
The bad news: I'm dealing with drawdowns, and I can feel the pressure starting to build.
I need to recognize that pressure before it turns into something worse.
So I'm putting tighter guardrails around myself:
🔒 1 micro max
🔒 $150 daily max loss
I'm locking both so that when emotions take over, I can't size up or keep digging.
I'm not trying to make the drawdown back quickly. That's exactly the mentality I'm trying to get away from.
I'm going to slowly work my way out of this hole while protecting the accounts I still have.
Small green days. Controlled red days. Let them compound.
I'll also start posting my weekly P&L again—green or red.
Still here. Still learning.
Slow and Steady. 🐢
@SooTrades One tilt day can undo so many days of disciplined trading. Take the time you need to regroup. You’ve already proven you can trade well. This stretch doesn’t change that.
Lucid Direct 50K – Weekly Update
🟢 Week P&L: +$163.00
📅 4 Green Days | 1 Red Day
Nothing spectacular. Just small green days stacking up while trying to keep the red days small.
I've realized that my normal trading isn't what sets me back—it's the occasional tilt day where one loss turns into something much bigger.
So I'm adding more guardrails.
🔒 GAT locked to 1 micro max
🔒 Daily max loss: $200
Once I hit that limit, I'm done. No opportunity to size up and try to make it back.
The goal is simple - control the downside and let the small green days compound.
Slow and Steady. 🐢
Pissy PA today. 😂
Basically just rotating between PDH and ONL with no real direction.
No clean break. No clean retest. No reason to force anything.
We try again tomorrow. 🐢

Weekly Update
🐢 Lucid Direct 50K
🔴 Week P&L: -$181.50
📅4 Green Days | 1 Red Day
Took a huge L today.
I could feel myself starting to tilt and wanting to fight the loss, so I forced myself to shut everything down before I dug an even deeper hole.
Definitely not the way I wanted to end the week, but I recognized the tilt before it got really bad and stopped.
This is also why I like focusing on weekly P&L instead of daily P&L. When I zoom out, -$181.50 for the week doesn't look nearly as bad as today's loss feels.
Eventually, I want to zoom out even further and focus primarily on monthly P&L.
Less attachment to individual outcomes.
Accept the loss. Protect the account. Come back next week.
Slow and Steady. 🐢
@SooTrades A red day is just one data point. Don’t let it bring doubt into your process. Keep going and keep managing your risk. I’m sure when you zoom out at the end of the month, you’ll be green.
