$1,000,000 Milestone: ✅
A bit late on this post, been taking the past few days to trade and rest. But this is my personal official post for crossing the $1M mark - truly a dream come true.
Below will be a thread of some of my biggest lessons for anyone who has the same dreams
Today, the SEC approved a major FINRA rule change that eliminates the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule and replaces it with a new intraday margin system.
https://t.co/vdRoCGPOza
📷 What’s Being Removed
The $25,000 minimum account requirement for day traders
📷 What’s Replacing It
A new intraday margin framework that:
Measures risk in real time (or end-of-day) instead of counting trades
Requires traders to maintain enough equity based on actual exposure
Applies to all margin accounts, not just day traders
📷 How the New System Works
Firms monitor your account for intraday margin deficits (when risk exceeds equity)
📷 Implementation Timeline
Rule is approved now (April 2026)
FINRA will:
Announce an official start date
New rules go live ~45 days after that notice
Firms can phase in over up to 18 months
📷 Key Takeaway
The market is shifting from “how often you trade” to “how much risk you take.”
This is a huge structural change—it opens the door for more traders while still enforcing discipline through real-time risk management.
This week, and this month tbh, should teach you that you don't NEED to trade all the time, let the best trades come to you and you can actually live better AND earn more money than those who sit in front of their multi-minor setup all day and night trying to take scraps to justify all the time they're putting in.
Trading does NOT have to be time-intensive, especially in choppy markets like this so be sure to adapt to the market and don't try to moose your will on it like too many degenerate gamblers do...don't waste your life away as I actually outperformed bigtime lately by trading less! #qualityoverquantity
This post is great. A few weeks ago I was journaling and thought the same thing to myself - why am I not taking more advantage of the freedom that comes with this? Trying to do one fun thing throughout the day to remind myself of what freedom really means.
Enjoy your trip, Brian! Hope you're doing well
Last week I booked a last-minute flight and stay in Cabo less than 12 hours to take-off because I was freezing my ass off at home, feeling like a “hostage” to the market.
I forgot my swimming trunks and had to buy 2 of them for an eye-watering $450 USD (still wtf’ing at Grand Velas boutique)…
And STILL, it was much cheaper than sitting around grinding it out when the market wasn’t there for me.
Trading is one of the few professions where you can literally lose vacations/cars/houses etc AND, more importantly, TIME simultaneously while “working”.
And so, I often think to myself if I’m so willing to part ways with my trading PNL, then why not just spend that on something tangible.
I remember one of my biggest losing days in 2021, I decided to just buy the watch I wanted instead of waiting to feel “good” about my PNL.
Our perspectives warp when we stare at numbers and desensitize ourselves to the true ups and downs.
Whenever I spend the money it grounds me, “this is what this is worth”. Whenever I’m able to tip generously, especially in areas where the dollar goes farther, I feel more connected to my pursuit of trading for a living.
Serendipitously making someone’s day with an outlier tip is one of my favorite things to do. Extremely hard working people who don’t get appreciated often, meanwhile we lose their salaries in pajamas… it’s madness.
I just want to point out that I know people feel it, but don’t act on it. Try to exercise some of your freedoms as a trader and realize it’s okay to step away whenever you want and you don’t need permission to just do what you want when you want.
You’ll probably come to so similar conclusions for yourself.
Finally getting some consistency back in my trading. Currently 3 days into a 5 day fast, and I feel at peace with myself. Less FOMO, better trading, really the perfect reset. Wrote about it + recapped today, read it here:

Give props to https://t.co/N730kDWF7c lead trainer @Stratataaa on all the great work/mentoring he does with Inner Circle Students, but also on his +$30,000 week in a tough tough market thanks to $MOVE and now $BNAI and when I congratulated him he said "Yeah but we got a long way to go" so he has the right mentality too!
Perhaps more importantly, he's working on his basketball game so he doesn't embarrass himself in front of @TraderBryce@mono_trader & @JohnCARL_510 at the next Inner Circle meetup again so please retweet this and congratulate him on winning on multiple fronts, even though he doesn't want any congratulations as he's busy working on improving his trading process and his basketball game!
Here are some great photos from my https://t.co/N730kDWF7c meetup in Las Vegas and I’m just SO GRATEFUL to the entire group, from the mentors like @Stratataaa@DonJuanKnows@JohnCARL_510@TraderBryce@Jackaroo_Trades Ben & Scottie to all the students who put in so much time and effort to learn the art of trading, it’s an amazing feeling having such a hardworking and positive community in an industry full of of lazy degenerate gamblers, where the vast majority lose most or all of their money due to lack of preparation, discipline or hard work.
Make no mistake, successful trading IS possible through diligence, determination and patience and while so far we only have a few https://t.co/N730kDWF7c members like Terry And Linda who have cracked the $100,000 profit milestone, I have no doubt several of these students will soon be trading millionaires as boring daily habits add up and preparation + opportunity = success over time! #ilovemyjob #proudteacher #stocktrading
Time for some weekend review! Covered one of the ways I maximize conviction in trades by stacking the odds in my favor. Read it here: https://t.co/C2DQuWI5Lo
Inspired by @mono_trader Daily Report Card, I'm going to do some in-depth review of the best trade of the day (or the Easiest $50k Trade). This is just as much for my review as it is for you - hope it helps! Here's my first writeup:
