@DefitheDinoGuy Communication is only part of it. A lot is unwinding and selling of FTM positions by people that were arbitraging/collecting fees. Most L1/DeFi projects have been doing badly. AVAX isn’t much better. ETH has been underperforming. We are smaller in market cap so more volatile.
@milesdeutscher Was it real retail like Dubai holiday visitors, or people active in the space. Dubai is kind of crypto hub/bubble so not strange you get recognized there.
@SalsaTekila Most likely arbitrage between spot and futures markets by market makers.
I doubt it's US Gov since no coins moved or they didn't settle yet but that's unlikely.
@Route2FI Spend part of it on a home here, part of it on a vacation home.
And if we get a decent dip I will spend a lot on index funds, stocks, bitcoin.
Just need a 2-3x to be comfy. Anything above 5x I'd probably splurge a chunk on cars, watches etc.
@CryptoMichNL After 2017 top it trended down for 2 years too and recovered, but never above ATH. Now probably will go up at some point, but not to 2022 highs. Still 6.5K sats is a good 50% up. $5K ETH when BTC hits $90K.
@Route2FI He should start working different jobs to find out what fulfills him. Or start at business if that's what he admires. Also throw in some travel to explore differnent places. You can do crypto next to that easily, me and others have done the same and made multiples.
@DaanCrypto Seems like there still is some selling pressure from old coins like those from MtGox, weirdly it is no longer talked about now since the distribution happened.
@ZssBecker A fair point for athlethes, but I don't think it applies directly to business/making money. I.e. I don't think Warren Buffett/Berkshire would be wealthier if he didn't drink coke and get his breakfast at Mcdonald's.
