Vietnam🇻🇳 ranking among the top countries for FTMO reward recipients looks like a major success story.
But one crucial number is missing:
How many Vietnamese traders failed?
A leaderboard shows us the visible winners. It does not show us:
• The total number of participants
• The percentage who failed
• The amount spent on challenges and resets
• The time and emotional cost involved
• The number who remain profitable long term
This matters because a $1,000 payout does not carry the same economic value in Vietnam as it does in the UK or Germany.
In a developing country, that amount can represent several months of income. With wages under pressure, living costs rising, and homeownership becoming increasingly difficult, it is understandable why many young people see trading as a possible way to change their lives.
But this creates a much larger question.
What happens when a growing share of young talent, time, and capital flows into financial speculation instead of engineering, manufacturing, agriculture, technology, research, and entrepreneurship?
Trading can generate income for successful individuals—but it does not build factories, improve infrastructure, develop domestic technology, increase industrial productivity, or create millions of stable jobs.
A country cannot trade its way into becoming an industrial power.
Long-term national prosperity still comes from producing real goods, building competitive businesses, developing technology, creating intellectual property, and improving productivity.
This is not an attack on trading. Professional trading requires discipline, skill, patience, and serious risk management. Successful Vietnamese traders deserve recognition.
However, payout certificates should never be presented as the complete reality. Social media celebrates the winner holding a certificate, while the failed accounts, repeated fees, financial stress, and lost years remain almost invisible.
Vietnam’s high ranking may demonstrate talent and determination—but it may also reveal the financial pressure facing a generation searching for a faster path upward.
The most meaningful statistics would include:
• Participants by country
• Pass and failure rates
• Total fees paid
• Total rewards received
• Long-term profitability rates
Only then could we understand whether this ranking represents broad financial success—or simply a large number of people taking extraordinary risks in search of a better life.
A leaderboard measures visible winners. It does not measure the financial health of a generation.
What do you think?😕

🚨 THE HEAT MAP IS FLASHING RED. THE BOND MARKET ISN'T GIVING US A BREAK, EITHER.
The US 10-year Treasury yield has surged past 5.1%, hitting its highest level since 2007. As borrowing costs rise, the pressure extends far beyond Wall Street—impacting corporate expenses, government debt loads, and consumer wallets alike.
A rebound is still possible. But if yields keep climbing, every rally in the US30 and ES will face the same critical question: **who is left with the buying power to keep this going?**
I don't fear a red session. What I fear is that moment when the market *looks* like it has stabilized—just before the selling pressure returns. 📉#US30 #ES_Futures #DowJones #TreasuryYields #StockMarket #Trading #h2t
🚨 THIS IS NOT LOOKING GOOD.
Entire US bond yield curve is going parabolic.
US01Y is at a 25-month high
US02Y is at a 28-month high
US05Y is at a 19-year high
US10Y is at a 19-year high
US20Y is also at a 22-year high
US30Y is at a 19-year high
Higher yields across the board mean higher borrowing costs for the government, businesses, and consumers, and that's bad news for both the economy and stocks.
ES is knocking on the same ceiling again.
The descending trendline is right at 7,841. Break and hold above it, and 7,846.70 comes into focus. Get rejected, and 7,836.50 is the level I’m watching.
The setup is on the chart. Now I want to see what price actually does. 👀

Won an ES trade last night at 1.36R.💰💰
I knew exactly how much I could lose. I had the stop set. I was fine with it—until the U.S. session opened and ES started moving like it had a personal problem with me.
The trade hit my target. My nervous system is still waiting for confirmation. 💀

@Topstep@TopstepTV 4 Topstep $50K Trading Combines passed. ✅
The two newest passes came on September 22, 2026. Four milestones down—and now a new battle begins.
The goal from here: stay disciplined, protect the accounts, and prove I can do it consistently. ⚔️📈

2 stop-losses on XAUUSD.
1 clean win on ES. ✅
Definitely not my best trading day—Gold cost me around $600. The ES trade helped recover part of the damage, but the day still ended in the red.
No excuses. Accept the loss, review the mistakes, and come back sharper tomorrow.

@FTMO_com Honestly, after failing more funded-account challenges than I’d like to admit, I’ve learned some hard lessons.
The first rule I think about now is simple:
Trade when market conditions are in your favor.
You don’t have to trade every day. You don’t have to force a setup just because the market is open. Sometimes, the best trade is waiting until price action becomes clear and your edge is actually present.
This time, I completed the challenge with $1,002.08 in profit over four trading days, while keeping my maximum drawdown to just -$140.01.
The goal is no longer to trade more.
The goal is to trade better, protect capital, and be ready when the right opportunity finally appears.
Patience is part of the strategy.

@casper_smc I need an elite high-stakes gambler to partner with me and turn $100K into $1M in three months.
If they pull it off, I’ll give them $100K.
Does anyone know someone?

Trading Gold during the Asian session after the Fed raised rates by 25 basis points.
The hike is a clear message: inflation is still the Fed’s biggest concern. Higher rates and rising Treasury yields should pressure Gold—but the strong rebound after the selloff shows buyers are still willing to step in.
I waited for the volatility to cool down before taking the long. No FOMO. No chasing. Just price action, risk management, and execution.
Trade the reaction, not the headline. 🥇

Honestly, after four years of trading, I still feel almost clueless when it comes to predicting price.
I don’t know how far the market will move. I don’t know whether my next trade will win or lose. And even now, I don’t know if I’ll ever succeed at this.
But I do know what these years have cost me.
Money is the easiest loss to measure. Everything else wore me down slowly. My physical health declined. I struggled emotionally. There was constant stress, severe insomnia, and stomach pain that kept getting worse. Whenever the market moved against my position, I would clench my jaw and grind my teeth, often without even realizing it. It got bad enough that I started feeling like I was damaging my teeth.
What hurts the most is the time I missed with my family.
I wasn’t around enough to care for my mom while she was still here. Now she’s gone, and I don’t get another chance.
I wasn’t there for my dad when he felt down. I didn’t give my girlfriend the attention and care she needed when she was sick. I spent so much time watching every move on a screen while the people I loved needed me to be present.
I don’t want to call any of that “the price of success.” I don’t even know if success is waiting for me. And even if I make money someday, that won’t make those losses worth it.
This is what my experience with trading has been. Writing it down, I mostly feel sadness and regret.
After four years, I still don’t know where this road will lead. But I’m starting to ask myself: if I keep living this way, how much more of my life am I going to miss?
So if you’re completely new to trading and already struggling to get by—worried about groceries, rent, or your next meal—my honest advice is this: don’t get into trading hoping it will rescue you.
The pressure to make money, combined with the possibility of losing what little you have, can wear you down.
Trading isn’t the only way to build a peaceful life. You don’t have to go through what I went through to create something better for yourself.
As for me, I’m still choosing to stay. I know there are no guarantees, and I don’t want to use everything I’ve lost as a reason I have to keep going.
After everything, trading has become a familiar part of my life. I want to approach it with a calmer mind: accepting that there are things I can’t know, that some trades will lose, and that one trading session doesn’t determine my worth.
I’m staying, but what I want now is to be able to close my screens without carrying the market around in my head. To eat a proper meal, get a good night’s sleep, and be there for the people I love.
I’ve spent years learning how to trade. Now I want to learn how to live peacefully while doing it.#PropTrading #PropFirm #FundedTrader #FundedAccount #PropFirmChallenge #Topstep #FTMO #The5ers
