Paid ₹3500 for a COUPLE pass for a NYE event thinking okay, at least the night won’t be chaotic.
Wrong. Absolutely wrong.
The event was sold via District app for Bata Social bar. They kept selling tickets like it’s an infinite digital fantasy land. No cap. No brakes.

No ownership. Just corporate word salad.
This is peak consumer exploitation.
Take the money first, deny the service later, and then gaslight people with technicalities.
NYE memories replaced with frustration, chaos, and the realization that some brands have zero shame.
“It was not intentional. Refund cannot be given.
Not intentional?
Overbooking an event, letting people in knowing there’s no space, and then hiding behind a QR scan is not an accident. It’s a systematic scam.
They didn’t just ruin my NYE.
They ruined the evening for many people
So scanning a QR = delivering the experience now?
I immediately contacted District support. On chat, they assured me clearly that the issue would be resolved and a refund would be processed. I have patience. I waited.
Then comes the plot twist.
Later they conveniently flip
Just pure overbooking greed.
When we actually reached the venue on NYE night, reality slapped hard.
No seating. No space. No arrangement.
Just a crowd of confused, angry people holding valid tickets.
What do they do instead of fixing the mess?
They scan the QR codes at the door.

@NCIBHQ Live recording while on duty is a must and every police person should wear a camera when going to a scene or when is on active duty so that if any wrong doing is done it can be corrected just by reviewing the footage
@NCIBHQ What if the Police are beating someone under the false pretense of obstructing police work? When there was no obstructing done and there's no video proof?
How will the victim get justice in that case ? As our Law will say no proof no punishment ?
