📈 Welcome to my investing journey.
I’m 32 years old and I’ve just moved my portfolio to Trading 212 to document everything from here onwards.
Current portfolio: £6,556.85
My strategy is simple:
🌍 80% Vanguard FTSE All-World
🚀 20% Nasdaq 100
(+ some small single stock positions)
My goal is to build a £100,000+ portfolio through consistent investing, with the long-term aim of retiring before 60.
Just regular investing, monthly updates and lessons learned.
If you’re building wealth through investing too, follow along and let’s see where this journey takes us. 📈
@financefraz Logically any debt below 3/4% isn’t a priority and it makes sense to invest your money instead.
But I personally would prefer not to have any consumer debt for peace of mind.
Thinking of adding max 3-5 single stocks to increase growth potential whilst still keeping ETFs as 80% of my holdings. Want to stay away from US tech as I’m already heavily invested with my ETFs.
Already own small allocation of $ASML.
On my watchlist are:
$RR (Rolls Royce)
$AZN
$MELI
$NVO
Suggestions welcome.
@SeanySpaces I would be for it as long as we are not expecting to come in and be our starting 6 straight away, doesn’t look ready to me.
Stay clear of premier league midfielders this summer imo. Everyone’s getting rinsed.
@mnstr_mntlt Yep. There is so much evidence for the way Liverpool do business, yet people still think we are going to sign 3 forwards, 2 midfielders, rb and cb. It’s not going to happen unless there are loads of out goings.
Even if we offered him to clubs they still need to agree to pay a fee. Madrid have shown they are happy to wait. Were PSG even interested? They could have signed him on a free and they chose not to. You also need Konate to agree to leave. Why would he do that when he can wait and get a huge sign on bonus.
The club are pretty powerless in these situations other than throwing money at Konate to get him to sign. Which they were right not to do so.
@yaseen_____2@BradyAlan101@SeanDOlfc Sold him to who? Madrid were happy to wait. Didn’t see any bids come in for him. Probably because he was happy to run his contract down and get a big payout.
But you’re right, Richard Hughes should have just held him at gun point.
This ain’t FIFA fella.
@yaseen_____2@SeanDOlfc He has inherited most of these contract problems to be fair to him. Sorted two big ones in Salah and VVD a lot people chose to forget.
@ItsaWirtzofArt@404Hank@_LFCLOYAL_ He wouldn’t be competing with Rio though. I also think Rio is better than him already, but his minutes do need to be managed.
@DeltaSierra4@financefraz Just because they didn’t introduce further restrictions then doesn’t mean they won’t now. It’s was a different government then.
For what it’s worth, I don’t think they will. But it leaves a sour taste in the mouth nonetheless.
