A year ago I started a series of customs based on Nintendo handhelds, inspired by the way I thought of my cards as little GameBoys as a child.

Turns out during prototyping for the TCG, a GameBoy inspired design was actually considered and designed!

@P1geon_YT Yep. Everything exclusive sold out on Wednesdya and the last few bits on Thursday. The limit on it all was 5 of each item ridiculous. So scalpers bought 5 of everything and are selling them on ebay.

@P1geon_YT Oh damn, that would be insane because today was actually day 1, yesterday was for select limited people like big YouTubers, influencers and of course actual competitors. But for spectators and everyone else, today was the first day!

@Mothmanifesting For me, when I checkout it does a security check with my bank app (normal), then asks for a Captcha to check I'm human and reloads. Not getting it wrong, get the green tick, but it reloads and asks for another Captcha. Then if I refresh the page it says payment can't be processed

In a strange way, I feel kind of validated by this. Very fun discovery, I'd love to see more of the official GB-inspired cards! Though of course instead of sprite-based artwork, they use very 90's 3D models.

Spheal community day was very good to me. 3x catch XP and Lucky Egg is a great combination with Spheal; one kf the easiest Pokémon to get an excellent throw on! About 1.5 million XP in the 2.5 hours I played.
