🚆 This is the ‘Midland Pullman’ - a service based on the iconic trains introduced by BR in the 1960’s.
🔵 Comprising of two Class 43 ‘HST’ sets in the ‘Blue Pullman’ livery, it’s running today from Shrewsbury to Whitby.

🟠 The locomotive was named and then christened in a competition by the staff at Biffa.

@JohnIanCarter1 I quite liked the all black livery myself. Although is does look great in blue. I’d like to see it return to LNER’s original garter blue with the number plate take off etc.
🚂 This is a O2 Class from the old Taff Vale Railway - what a sturdy little critter.
⚫️ Built in 1899, the engine is running on the @WorthValley this weekend. Just the 124 years of service then.
