China must remember that Ayungin Shoal is located approximately 105 nautical miles away from the nearest coastline of Palawan. Therefore, China does not have any jurisdiction over these waters. The recent incident involving the obstruction of a medical evacuation highlights the inhumane actions of the Chinese government, as they demonstrate a disregard for safety and the preservation of life.

Việc Trung Quốc xua tàu cá xuống áp đảo ngư dân Philippines là chỉ làm màu, vì chỉ riêng một chiều đi xuống Philippines thì đã hơn 1000km, mà khi đi thì phải tính đường về, cả đi lẫn về là trên 2000km, chưa kể đến nơi chẳng lẽ về liền, tức phải hoạt động vài ngày trên biển, vậy thì lấy đâu ra đủ dầu? Như Hạm đội 7 của Mỹ muốn hoạt động khắp nơi trên biển thì công tác hậu cần, phục vụ tiếp viện, tiếp tế là rất quan trọng, nếu khâu hậu cần không tốt thì cả hạm đội cũng chỉ là cục sắt đứng yên tại chỗ.

Vậy nên tham thì thâm, có ít tiền nhờ làm ăn trao đổi với phương Tây, copie một ít công nghệ từ phương Tây, người Trung Quốc nghĩ là đã đủ khả năng đi bành trướng khắp thế giới, trước mắt là xâm chiếm biển Đông, biển Hoa Đông dùng nó làm vùng đệm an toàn đồng thời quản lý đường giao thông biển nhộn nhịp thuộc bậc nhất thế giới, sau đó khai thác tài nguyên thủy hải sản cũng như khai thác dầu mỏ, băng cháy, đất hiếm dưới biển Đông để nuôi sống ngàn đời 1,5 tỷ người Trung Quốc.

The recent incident involving China's provocative actions and blatant disregard of international law towards the Philippines' coast guard and fishery vessels in Bajo De Masinloc highlights China's lack of concern for regional peace and stability. Their actions reveal their true intentions and expose their pretentious facade of claiming to be a benevolent rising power.

The Philippines' transparency in bringing these actions to light is a success in showing the world the barbaric and unruly behavior of China, who resort to using force to justify their greed. It seems that China has forgotten that transparency aims to expose their illegal actions, which they once successfully portrayed as gray zone tactics.

Please use your common sense and logic. As what I have posted, the incumbent president who is the sole architect of our foreign policy has already rescinded those agreement with People’s Republic of China if there is any. Secondly, it is irrelevant whether PRC would also rescind the agreement that perhaps you and the Chinese are only aware of. And as far as our national government position is concern we do not need China’s permission to allow us to maintain our post onboard BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal. Lastly, would you really believe the version of the story provided by Wang Yi? He was the one who signed the 2002 DOC, but since becoming the PRC's Foreign Minister, China has violated all of its provisions.

Nevertheless, if you think that you hold the gospel truth in the West Philippine Sea and it is not misinformation that you are preaching, i suggest you face the Senate inquiry on disinformation to be led by Senator @jinggoyestrada_. Instead of hiding behind the ‘freedom of speech’ in your column and blogs, do it under oath.

The West Philippine Sea serves as a unifying issue for the majority of Filipinos. President Marcos’ commitment to transparency has allowed the Filipino people to stay informed about the developments in the WPS. This information has greatly awakened the sense of patriotism among Filipinos, resulting in overwhelming support for our government's efforts to assert our position in the West Philippine Sea. Regardless of political affiliation or regional origins, the majority of Filipinos now stand united in expressing their angered criticism and strong disapproval of China's provocative bullying in our Exclusive Economic Zone.

If you hold a high position in the government and have not yet expressed clear support for our Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine Coast Guard, and our humble Filipino fishermen, it is important to reflect on where your loyalty and patriotism truly lie. Let me clarify that we have embedded media personnel not to exaggerate the situation or demonize China in the eyes of the international community. We have embedded them because we have confidence in the transparency of our story and have nothing to hide from journalists who enjoy their constitutionally guaranteed right for freedom of speech.

The People’s Republic of China intruded waters of Ayungin Shoal not to conduct law enforcement, but to escalate the tension, endanger the lives of the Filipinos carrying out the routine resupply operation, advance their unlawful ambition of taking control the entire West Philippine Sea, and blatanly show the world that they are above the international law. The current tension in the West Philippine Sea is caused by the People’s Republic of China unilaterally changing the status quo to serve the illegitimate interests of the Chinese Communist Party. It is important to note that the Joint Communique of the Philippines and China signed by President Ferdinand E. Marcos and Premier Zhou Enlai on 9 June 1975 also stated that “the two Governments agree to settle all disputes by peaceful means… without resorting to the use or threat of force.” I wonder whether this particular provision still matter and not yet forgotten by PRC.

These are the Pro-China narratives that some groups are spreading:

1. CLAIM: Claiming that speaking up against China's aggression in the West Philippine Sea will lead us into a war.
FACT: Exposing China's aggression is not inciting war. By keeping our political leaders and countrymen aware of China’s violations of international law, we are safeguarding our country from political manipulation and disinformation. Also, by calling out China’s bad behavior at sea, we highlight which party is really responsible for raising tensions and increasing the likelihood of a kinetic conflict.

2. ARGUMENT: Arguing that our efforts for transparency are solely influenced by the United States.
FACT: Our transparency efforts are driven by our own national interest - the protection of the Philippines’ maritime rights. The Philippine Coast Guard and other government agencies are utilizing their own resources to document and monitor Beijing's aggression in the West Philippine Sea. For instance, the PCG has chosen to embed Filipino news journalists to ensure accurate and unbiased reporting of the events they witness. The PCG does not have editorial control over what these journalists report. Our dedication to transparency is independent of any external influence, and we prioritize the dissemination of factual information to the public.

3. ACCUSATION: Accusing those who are critical of China as anti-Filipino and pro-US.
FACT: Experts and government officials who are critical of China's actions in the West Philippine Sea are driven by their dedication to the Philippines. Their arguments are rooted in international law, such as the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, and the Philippine Constitution. These individuals take principled positions based on defending our national interests. Instead of offering solutions that prioritize Philippine national interests, they resort to labeling patriotic Filipinos as pro-US in an attempt to discredit them. This aligns with China's narrative that the South China Sea is solely a US-China issue, disregarding the agency of claimant states and the importance of defending our maritime rights based on international law.

Ironically, these individuals claim to be pro-Filipino while promoting Chinese narratives and even contradicting factual reports from Philippine authorities. Their intention is to manipulate public opinion and divert attention from the issue of Chinese aggression. Their strategy revolves around discrediting both the message and the messenger.

Ultimately, their proposed solutions amount to accommodating China's unreasonable and illegal claims, rather than seeking fair and just resolutions that safeguard our national interests. @JeffreyOrdaniel
