Sure but you can make that risk argument on any income. Entrepreneurship is full of risk. Long term Capital gains is already taxed at 15% or less for at least 95% of people.
And also that argument would mean venture capital and hedge funds would pay zero tax on their entire business.
Yes inflation is a lot of it but it's also other things. Tariffs definitely raised prices (I'm in the ecom import business). And speaking to a lot of my other ecom friends, all of us raised our prices.
Seeing that everyone was still willing to pay, there's just really no reason to drop them, even after getting our tariff refunds.
Consumer demand is still strong even after raising our prices.
I won't speak for Amazon but just for small businesses. If consumers are willing to pay it, we will continue to charge it with record profit margins.
@theseoguy_ Love your posts by the way. Thank you for that. Any thoughts about a tactful way to collect reviews for a marriage and family therapy private practice? Let's just say people even pay cash sometimes to really make sure they cannot be tracked.
I wish X's algorithm acknowledged content from popular influencers when it's completely coming out of their asses. Like a real estate guru giving me vaccine advice.
Similar to Google Search I wish there was some sort of domain authority classification when it came to promoting content
