The Rock has had several progressive messages covered by the phrase "Boycott your DEI training" since May 21st a total of 7 times. Each time, our community and others have come together to cover it again and again, with no support from MSU's administration. (1/3)

Members of TransAction, @AllianceMSU , and others have stayed at The Rock for hours on end and camped out overnight in order to protect our expressions of pride from this hateful messaging- something we would not have to do if the University had ANY policy in place to protect us.

This has happened at least 6 times since May 21st. & it has always been over messages of pride. This is beyond unacceptable. @michiganstateu we expect better & we hope the university makes good on its promise to support marginalized communities, which it can't do if this keeps up

This first day of #PrideMonth2020, we urge you all to remember the Black trans leadership that launched the LGBTQ movement in the first place. Black trans women and other trans women of color fought back against police brutality at Stonewall and continue to do so now.
