An update on the ongoing eviction:

The tenant had to go to A&E last night after the illegal eviction. She has fractured a bone in her wrist and is badly bruised all up her back and on the back of her head. She has given us permission to post a picture of some of the bruising

The spectrometer has just arrived! We're really excited to get stuck in and spend the next few weeks familiarizing ourselves with everything. We'll hopefully will be publishing some early test results by the end of next month.

So good news is the spectrometer just arrived in Ireland yesterday and were expecting it to be delivered to us sometime early next week. Bad news is that we had to pay 1250 euro customs fee to DHL.

We've reached our goal of 5k in just under a month! All the equipment is payed for, and were expecting it to ship out on the 17th, to arrive by late June. We'll continue to post detailed updates.

We've increased the goal to 6k so that if people want to continue help support the project they can still donate. Shipping costs were quite expensive, and we want to stock up on things like heavy metal testing strips, and other bits and bobs.
