A special thank you to our community partners @BikeGrove , @HealthyLH , The Shenandoah Neighborhood Association, Allapattah CDC, and @WynwoodCEA for your tireless collaboration to ensure this plan is representative of our community's needs!
As of this morning, the City of Miami has officially passed and adopted the 2026 Bike Masterplan! This one is for the books. π₯³π²
This win was only possible thanks to every safe cycling advocate who came out and spoke up for their right to a safe, connected, and accessible cycling network. π§‘
A special thank you to @CityofMiami Commissioner @RosadoForMiami , Commissioner @Damianpardo8 , and Chairwoman King for co-sponsoring this plan and making it a priority, and to City staff for the hard work it takes to get something like this across the finish line at commission and ensuring community input was properly incorporated every step of the way.
And now, we hold the city to this plan. We look forward to working closely with the City to ensure that these 12 priority projects are built safely and done right by 2031. If you too want to see a safe cycling network in Miami, make sure to stay updated and join us!
Letβs get to work π΄π΄πΌββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ

The City of Miami Bike Master Plan finally goes to a vote at City Hall tomorrow and we need to pack the room π²
ποΈ Thursday 5/28, 9am
π City Hall, 3500 Pan American Dr, Coconut Grove
This plan is finally closer than itβs ever been. and now we just need the Commission to vote YES and commit to getting it built by 2031. That only happens if they hear from us.
There are a few ways to help:
β Show up tomorrow at City Hall at 9am
β Call your commissioner before the vote and ask them to vote YES
β forward this to a friend, neighbor, coworker, the more voices the better
We are sure many of you are already aware, this is our once-in-a-generation shot to make biking in Miami safe for everyone. Letβs get this plan passed, and built!

Spent the morning with the Springview Elementary Bike Bus, and these kids and parents rejuvenated us on our 24 hr Transit Triathlon. Watch only if you want to feel good inside⦠#bikebus#transittriathlon
Itβs almost a new dawn π in Miami as we go from Gov Center, down to Dadeland South using the Night Owl, and then all the way to Florida City to take the new Metro Express service back up to Dadeland South. We are lucky to have some sanity left, and a crew that runs deep. #transittriathlon
We made it back to Government Center in search of coffee and late-night vibes. Keep following along as we traverse Miami-Dade without a car for 24 hours straight.
Our accidental trip to Aventura⦠follow along as we approach midnight on our 2026 Transit Triathlon. Did you know buses run this late, but bad sidewalk design lasts all day! #miamitransit#transittriathlon
