Nunca.

If you escape death,
you will not escape the pain of injury.
If you survive that,
you will not escape hunger.
And if you survive that,
you will not escape the cold and rain.
And, you will not escape oppression. Never.
Gaza - 278 days of war, genocide, and ongoing genocide ...
My friend from Gaza told me yesterday "at the beginning of this genocide I was afraid of losing a close person to my heart. Since the murder of my mother, what scares me the most is being trapped under the rubble together with my children. I don't want to be murdered slowly".
"They targeted the entire neighborhood with a frightening carpet-bombing. Our house is gone, and I ran into the street barefoot with nothing, not knowing anything about my family. Most people are under the rubble. I need anyone left in Tuffah [neighborhood] to reassure me about the rest of my family. Oh God, have mercy on us." #Gaza
"Yesterday, on my way home from the hospital, I stopped at a street vendor. There was a woman around my mother's age who came and stood at the same vendor. When I moved to another vendor, she followed me to the same one. It was clear she didn't want to buy anything, and she had something on her mind. After a moment, she gathered her courage and told me, "You know, you look a lot like my son who [was killed]" and she burst into tears." #Gaza
Was in Gaza City passiert, ist in jedem Sinne wahnsinnig.

Israeli aircrafts bombed a home in my area of refuge in Deir al-Balah central #Gaza a while ago. At least 5 Palestinians, apparently from the same family, were killed.

Our first vet visit in our 3rd area of refuge!
We discovered a veterinarian in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. He’s originally from Rafah but has been, too, forcibly displaced due to the ongoing Israeli indiscriminate attacks in his area. He managed to grab essential equipment and medications with him to reopen his clinic in his area of refuge.
As expected, like countless humans and animals across Gaza, Tom is suffering from malnutrition, which has led to multiple health issues. Over the past few months, I've had to rely solely on canned mortadella from aid packages to feed Tom, as it was the only food available. The vet told me the vast majority of this aid is of such poor quality that "even animals shouldn't be eating it!" I heard this and thought, "What about the 2.3 million people who have no choice but to rely on this low-quality aid to survive?"
No wonder we've been consistently suffering from various health issues over the past nine months, including severe vitamin deficiencies, vomiting, diarrhea, and hepatitis, among others.
