The Dutch government is running TV ads asking citizens to limit their electricity usage between 4pm and 9pm because the grid might collapse.

This is what happens when ideology replaces engineering. The Netherlands tore down its stable, gas-based system and replaced it with intermittent wind and solar that surge and fade with the weather.

They provide no inertia, no stored energy and no steady baseline. And modern grids can't cope. Lines are overloaded. Companies can't connect. Homes and EV charges are being turned away. And operators are even shutting down wind farms to avoid surging blackouts.

Summer has failed to arrive in the High Arctic.

Danish Meteorological Institute data show June 2026 averaged -2.2C (28F), by far the coldest June in record books extending back to 1958.

And the cold continued through July.

By July 27, the monthly mean stood at just 0.01C, effectively freezing. Temperatures repeatedly fell below 0C during what should be the warmest part of the Arctic year, when readings normally climb to 2C or higher.

A review of the DMI archive reveals no colder summer run, with 2026 tracking at the bottom of the entire 69-year series.

While headlines warn of an overheating Arctic, the region north of 80N has been the coldest we've ever known it in archives dating back to 1958.

In the UK, data centres are a fake market! government backed digital surveillance and data infrastructure that will be used to monitor and control citizens’ behaviour.

Let’s do the maths on data centres.

Britain has some of the highest electricity prices in the developed world. Households are paying about 25p–26p per kWh under the Ofgem price cap, plus standing charges, while small businesses, farmers and manufacturers are being crushed by energy costs.

Meanwhile, the government is creating special conditions for data centres. Did you know they can receive:

▪️cheaper electricity - potentially worth up to £80 MILLION a year for the largest sites
▪️priority and accelerated grid access - while homes and businesses wait
▪️planning support - including on agricultural and green-belt land
▪️Critical National Infrastructure status, meaning in an energy shortage they will have priority.
▪️Climate Change Levy discounts of up to 92% - even though they generate huge emissions and require vast energy and water.
▪️possible public financing and state-backed infrastructure

After construction, data centres provide few permanent local jobs, and many of those can be outsourced or carried out remotely. There is little benefit to local communities.

We pay higher electricity prices to help fund the architecture of our own control.

We fund the grid. We provide the data. Then private technology giants use that infrastructure to collect, store, process and monetise our lives.

Our health data, financial data, movements, habits, faces, voices, opinions and behaviour all become part of the new profit machine. And it is all enabled and guaranteed by us.

BRILLIANT… for technology companies and governments. For us? Er … not so much.

And when you finally reach peak fury, it will already be too late.

In the Lower 48, I was able to show that by extending the U.S. Drought Monitor back to 1901 using the self-calibrated Palmer Drought Severity Index (scPDSI), no statistically significant change has occurred in drought area or intensity:

🟡 D2 / Severe: +0.05%; p = 1.00 (slight increase, but not statistically significant)

🌧️ There has been no increase in river flooding in the U.S. since at least 1960.

The map I attached below shows the change in the magnitude of U.S. river flooding since 1960. The triangle-shaped markers indicate the annual trend in peak river flows (cubic ft / sec) from 1960 to 2025 for all 425 USGS river and stream gauges that have 95% completeness over that time period. 5.2% of stations show a statistically significant increase in flooding and 5.9% show a significant decrease. The rest of the stations show no statistically significant change in either direction.

Flash flooding has increased in many urban areas, but that is largely due to poor city planning. When absorbent grassland and soil are paved over with asphalt and concrete, the land surface becomes impermeable, so any heavy downpour will inevitably cause more flooding than would have occurred in the past, despite any climatic trends.

While climate alarmists will argue that heavy rainfall events have increased (citing Clausius-Clapeyron as the physical basis), we are finding that a lot of rainfall data is missing from digitized weather records. When the original handwritten paper COOP or 1001 forms from the early 20th century are digitized into the ACIS sites, extreme values are often considered suspicious and eliminated, so they get marked as “Missing.” But if you read the notes, they will often note an afternoon thunderstorm that produced a heavy downpour. In Texas, for instance, it has been found that complete data turns an increase in Rx1day (i.e., heaviest annual 1-day rainfall per station) to a non-trend over the last 100 years.

Clausius-Clapeyron also says nothing about rainfall rates, much less total rainfall out of a given cloud, it only calculates equilibrium vapor pressure. Using it is not an appropriate extrapolation, especially over large land masses like the U.S.

🌀 U.S. hurricane and major hurricane (Category 3+) landfalls have not increased since reliable recordkeeping began in 1851. In fact, there is a slight, albeit not statistically significant decrease. I even extended records back to 1800, and there is no long-term trend. And of the top 15 strongest hurricanes to make landfall since 1851, ten of them occurred before 1975. And of those, seven were either in or before the year 1935.
