@TheFluxSystem Seriously one would think it would be a no brainer for blood work 🙄 being a transman I learned 2 be and how 2 an advocate for my own health! Tricks of the trade lol. DM anytime if u have questions. Also, at the blood work place just ask them to call u by w/e name u go by 👍

@TheFluxSystem Parent or older friend could drive you 2 the clinic if there's no public transportation. A lot of places do a hysto for free so definitely ask ur doctor! About 1 month recovery time & ur back 2 work. Thx! Go get u some healthcare best of luck 👏 2/2

@TheFluxSystem Definitely look around and see what's available 🤗 Being trans made me a master at navigating the healthcare system and taught me some serious life skills. I was so nervous about everything b4. If there's a local trans FB group on post asking where folks go. Maybe a friend's 1/2

@TheFluxSystem If you have a queer friend who could support you during phone calls, appointments & vice versa it makes the whole process better.
You'll get there! Whenever u get blood work done ask to make sure they're also testing for all STDs and HIV for some reason they don't unless asked

@TheFluxSystem Where I'm from, there are separate free clinics I could go to for everything sexual health related. I was too nervous to be examined by my doctor for pap tests etc. so I did them seperate B4 getting my full hysto (best thing I ever did).

I get my injection supplies for free from a clean needle exchange run by my city to cut costs down.
