Wait wait wait, are you suggesting that Metric systems are somehow more challenging than fractions? Metric was designed to be the easiest of them all and it is. I work in an R&D department for a European corporation owned American company that was bought out about 10 years ago. I constantly have to swap from one to the next and Metric is by far the easiest to convert, but is also the easiest to misread on prints that have thousands of measurements on one due to accidentally losing or gaining a zero because a 10 meter wiring harness is written in mm as 10000 right next to another splice that might be at 1000. With SAE measurements you always know that a fraction is refering to an inch and nothing else. So the same measurement would read something like 32' 9 11/16" and splice at 3' 3 3/8".
Sure it does. One is just clearly better than the other. All team based sports were "war games" designed to satisfy the inate desire for men to dominate their opponent. American football is definitely better for that purpose and has a much broader range of skills, players, and strategies.
@EricBlairTWAPC@jontweetssports And they die at 40 or live the last 30 years of their life with catastrophic CTE. Worst way to go, sporadic violence against loved ones, amnesia, and hallucinations.
I promise you, there's not a European out there who has room to talk trash on us based on our opinions of a game who literally invented the "flop".
Seriously, can you imagine anything more dishonorable than pretending to be hurt (lying) to gain an unfair advantage in a fucking sport meant to test your mettle against your oponents?!
I guess all the honorable men died in WW2 and all thats left are the cowards who deserted or pretended to be women.
@Rasclaat07@SumTingWong382@gehrenbergdfs The video is in slow motion and is over a period of a quarter second. There's no time to process that and act within a quarter of a second. If you break down the time stamps of Messi's vs Balongun's, Messi's scenario had his cleats on the opponents leg for 3x as long.
@PunchSevenIron@AbsoluteMxssi Dude, in that video were are talking less than a quarter of a second! He didn't stomp and removed his foot as soon as he was physically able to. Again, a quarter of a second!
@Rasclaat07@SumTingWong382@gehrenbergdfs Still frame zero context image can look wrong at any point. Show the incident in real time and everyone will understand how simple-minded you are.
If your rules eliminate a player, especially a star player, for the rest of one game and the next (even during a playoff) for an accidental high speed collision in a "contact sport" (soccer fan's words, not mine), then your sport is fucking gay and deserves to be ignored, like it has been for decades here in the states because we have real contact sports.
@Rasclaat07@gehrenbergdfs Funny that even every announcer disagreed with that publicly on the air. Every single one.
If you penalize a player by removing him for 2 games for an accidental collision at high speed while playing a contact sport, your sport is fucking gay.
@TurboTide@AffordAnything Rent prices on every level, should be determined by the landlords, not the government. It's not the governments property, it's the landlord's. Welcome to America where you own your property and not the mob of incompetent and jealous parasites that power the socialist movement.
@IngaImath@AffordAnything So tax them because the banks won't give them a loan to repair the buildings due to not having enough income due to prices being frozen low (which is unconstitutional to begin with).
