1 week today we will put on the greatest (free) cinema on e5arth (Clapton) !!! Are you ready? Failing that are you willing and able to come?

Denmark, particularly in Copenhagen, has installed floating platforms/islands planted with wildflowers and native vegetation in its harbors and canals.
These create safe urban habitats and sanctuaries for birds, bees, pollinators, insects, and even some aquatic life.
The Thames Water saga keeps rumbling on.
Now the water regulator - Ofwat - has objected to the creditors' outrageous attempts to keep the utility privatised.
And they're absolutely right. The public won't accept a deal which prioritises US hedge funds ahead of the households who pay for - and depend upon - our water system.
Time to put Thames Water out of its misery. We need special administration, followed by permanent public ownership.
RSPCA East Winch is one of many rescue centres nationwide struggling with a surge in hedgehog admissions. The centre says you can help hedgehogs by putting shallow trays of water in gardens.
This Friday on 3rd July, @natalieben has her second reading on her Nature Rights Bill.
This Bill is radical and would make Nature a Legal entity with its rights places above all others (Humans, Governments and Corporations).
We're taking part in London Climate Action Week for the first time. Join us on 25 June for a walk around the proposed site and a conversation about nature, water and community led action.

Hackney wildlife
Watch as a family of Canada Geese rest up on the River Lea while a Little Egret fishes in the background.
@IoloWilliams2 - come and visit Hackney Marshes while you are in the big smoke - urban wildlife at it's best.

Watch as @nationalgriduk chomps through a hedge. In nesting season. Despite its DCO stating “”In accordance with good practice measure B02, vegetation with the potential to support breeding birds will be programmed to be removed outside of breeding bird season (March to August inclusive) where practicable”. So why was it not practicable not to do it in this instance? The ecologist found nothing (what a surprise) but there is no way a hedge like this does not have nesting birds.
(This is Bramford to Twinstead, not Norwich to Tilbury)

#OnThisDay in London's anti-enclosure history, 1751: a crowd force entry into Richmond Park, privatised by the royals. They ‘Beat the Bounds’ of the parish - asserting their rights of access to the old commons.
