Unrelated, but i think potential support for non-human survivor models would be good to have.
It may just be biases talking, but there are quite a few non-human survivors i want in DbD. However, i dont think they'd ever actually be possible with the current game
Gooseworx would very much so disagree with you
Stop holding victims to high standards. Ribbit didn't even do anything wrong, yet she apologized for prying anyway
I've watched the full episode today and I think I've been hasty with my judgement before.... He's mostly hated because his mental illness isn't portrayed as quirky, he was acting corny many times but it was kinda realistic. Sometimes poison reach faster than a helping hand.
Correction: Gooseworx confirms that Jax would've transitioned HAD HE GROWN AND ACCEPTED HE WAS TRANS.
The sad truth is not everyone will come to accept that they're Trans. Jax's brainscan came from someone who was actively denying that part.
never seen a more perfect metaphor for 'i realized im probably trans but im choosing not to deal with it right now and trying my hardest not to think about it'
To defend the finale, I feel like this is genuinely something people are being extremely nitpicky about.
Yes, his abstraction off-screen is purposeful. We see the guy nearly abstract 3 different times, of course when it finally happens it wouldn’t be shown directly lol
And stuff like this is why I cannot stand all those tweets of "How dare Gooseworx make Jax sympathetic!!!!" Guess what chucklefucks, real life people can experience PTSD or trauma in a way that does make them lash out and hurt people....
Jax is a cautionary tale for a reason....
My dad retired at 59.
I will not.
He had a pension.
I have a 401k I can barely fund.
He bought his house at 30.
He paid $90 a month for health insurance. I pay $430.
At dinner he told me I need to be smarter with money. I nodded.
Didn't tell him his entire life was built on an economy that no longer exists. Just passed the bread.
