@JTheAccountant@dvassallo@richiethink Availability seems like a huge impact on what size can sell. Lots of new apartments going up where I live and very few correlated condo options, especially at a non-“luxury” level.
Irrespective of what I’d want, the market is a bigger house, further from the city center.
👀👀Check out Bald Mountain now! The Labor Day snow continues. In all seriousness, if you are venturing into the higher terrain, particularly above 10,000 feet be prepared for winter-like conditions. #utwx
427 personnel are assigned to #CowlitzComplex2023, with 5% contained. Crews are using hand tools, hoses & heavy equipment to establish access and construct containment line around the fires. Once line is done & heat is mopped up, fires will be in monitor & patrol status.
@AlaskaAir would be really nice if the app didn’t treat meal pre-order promotions as flight notifications or had some other way to turn that sort of stuff off.
Following a significant lightning event that occurred Aug. 24 & 25, more than 40 new fires have been reported across the forest. A quick response by firefighters is under way. Additional resources have been ordered. Learn more at www. https://t.co/GdqZAMZPl3
@KappaCheatma@sutsilvanianer @technical_ciso @paulg Given what we go through for taxes, a doctor visit, or a drivers license vs most of the world, we may complain about forms more but certainly aren’t short on useless box checking.
@sutsilvanianer @technical_ciso @paulg Now I’m not suggesting this process stops half of travelers or anything close. Those Americans want to travel to Europe will. Take my money & forms, gladly.
But if some people have a sense of difficulty, where some think about going changes. That’s all
@sutsilvanianer @technical_ciso @paulg Yes, it’s clearly generally simple and yet I’ve routinely run into people who expressed they had not traveled here (the US) because of the process / entry difficulty. Far more who had visited of course and very few who ever had an actual issue. But perception is wild.
@MarioHachemer@JimStevenson@paulg Our “friction” is so often absurd like that. I assume from this will not be anything like that when in place and yet the perception for some will still undoubtedly change. For whatever that’s worth anyways.
@sutsilvanianer @technical_ciso @paulg In my travels, I ran into plenty of people who expressed they “would like to visit the states but the process”.
Obviously it’s rarely actually the process, but the perception of it. Throw in even a handful of (likely absurd) denial stories and it’s certain a deterrent.
