@teacherkinz Cats don't like the smell of Vicks...I would put some on the underside of the couch and the cats steered clear of it. Anytime they found a new spot to scratch, I'd put Vicks on/near that spot and they'd move on from it!

@heathermfawcett This book looks amazing!! I teach 6th grade in FL and my goal is to get students engaged and love reading! I achieve this with a variety of genres and the 40 book challenge! (I challenge my students to read 40 books during the school year!) Would ❤to add this to my library! ❤❤

Never have I ever started a school yr where Ss came w/o supplies AND the school did not provide supplies to Ss. For this reason, I added supplies to my #wishlist, would ❤ to buy Ss supplies they need on my own, but can't do it with my pay cut this yr. Can u help #clearthelist ⬇️

Here's my recess look...it has turned out to be a very odd school year so far. We are 2 weeks in, and some days the masks are easier than others. I think Ss feel the same way. The FL heat makes masks a bit uncomfortable, but allows us to appreciate the weekend more than ever! ❤

Sometimes I forget to stop and appreciate even the smallest details in life, constantly on the move or exhausted.

Today I found myself in awe of nature's sunrise, something I see everyday now, but to busy getting out of the house to notice.

What a great way to start my day!

@Ms_Durfee @seanhopps I'm glad it helped! The students enjoyed being able to have the open space, rather than trying to distance in the classroom, and having a hard time hearing muffled voices! (they are having a slightly hard time adjusting to the masks while also projecting their voice to be heard)
