Travis Co. Civil & Family Courts Facility Closed through Fri. Jan. 19th: Civil & Family Courts Facility (CFCF) is closed to the public for the rest of the week due to a burst water valve. All in-person proceedings have been postponed. Remote proceedings continue as scheduled.

Travis County Civil & Family Courts Facility Closed Tue. Jan. 16: The CFCF (1700 Guadalupe St.) is closed on 1/16/2024 due to water damage from a burst water valve. All in-person & remote court proceedings are postponed & need to be reset with Civil Court Adm.
ANNOUNCEMENT: The Honorable Rhonda Hurley, Judge of the 98th District Court, has announced she will not seek re-election in 2024. Her 4th term ends 12/31/2024. We are incredibly grateful for her 2 decades of service as a judge with Travis County Civil and Family Courts.
The clerk & judge may refuse to consider motions where rules have not been followed. If appearing at the Agreed Order Docket & previously sent paperwork by Submission, you are required to email that Court to withdraw the request before appearing at the Agreed Order Docket.
NEW βAgreed Orderβ DOCKET starts Sept. 6! Each Wed. on the 12th floor of the CFCF. The walk-in docket will be 9a- 11a & 2p- 4p. This docket will have a judge, clerk & court staff. No court reporters are available for these dockets and only agreed matters will be considered.
Attorneys and self-represented litigants may continue to present agreed orders through these procedures. Please note that Walk-in Wednesdays is a pilot project. It is NOT for default or emergency orders or any matters that are not agreed.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting today, @theaustinbar attorneys may be issued parking cards for use in the CFCF employees/jurors parking garage through appointments with @TravisCoSheriff. Daily #attorney parking is subject to availability. #TravisCounty

Consistent with @TravisCountyTXβs decision to close all non-essential operations, the Travis County Civil and Family Courts will continue to be closed tomorrow, February 2nd, due to inclement winter weather and power outages. No in-person or virtual proceedings will take place.
π¨ COUNTY UPDATE: #TravisCounty offices will be closed Thursday, February 2, 2023. Additionally, the Travis County Commissioners Court voting session has been further postponed and will now be held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 8:45 a.m.
