Ngl. When I first heard from a friend that there was a Digimon World 2 and you "traversed the world in a tank," this is exactly what I pictured. Roughly 10 years later, when I actually got to play Digimon World 2, any prior expectations I had were thrown out the window.

@The_PessiMystic I hate that the new story games have armour digimon, burst modes, spirit evolution, and X-antibodies, but they never implemented card slash... the battles would be further removed from generic jrpg battles and be more in line with digimon if they had them.

Kinda like how Tamers was set in the real world where digimon exists as a franchise through toys, cards, and video games. I kinda want to see another season set in today's time.

Tamers was led on for a sequel, but we never got it (amimated). Would love to see it.

@VanishedOmens Totally agree. Even the new seasons don't get any recognition over adventure. Like how did Toei/ Bandai release a new game and a new anime in the same month and not think they should include digimon from the new anime in the game. Even toys/merch is practically non-existent.

@Pirat_Nation Pokemon has been terrible since they restricted the amount of pokemon available in game. Not that that's its main issue. But when it was announced, it was basically them saying, "fuck you guys, we can't be bothered anymore, here's your annual slop"
