Andrew Voyles is our sleeper candidate from the weekend. He is an athletic guard who can get to the cup with a burst. He is also strong.

Don’t give up just because it got difficult.
Don’t give up just because you had a setback.
Don’t give up just because you got off the path.
Don’t give up just because you have doubts.
Don’t give up just because they don’t believe.
Keep going. Keep fighting. Keep moving forward.

I spent 8yrs coaching high school
& some of the best coaches I have coached against in my career were HS coaches. Some never caught the breaks that I have, but to see 3 (Oats, Hurley & Keatts) former HS Coaches make it to the F4 should serve as an inspiration to every HS Coach!
“It really all comes down to just the
process.
You have to put the hours in the gym and that’s what really gives you the confidence.
When you know you put the work in, you can live with the result whether it’s good or bad.” @jgohlke34 Jack Gohlke

Instead of worrying about your child’s exposure, worry about their longterm development. Instead of investing money into traveling teams, invest time with your kids in the gym. Instead of chasing exposure, make a plan, chase improvement & they will get all the exposure they need!
HIGH SCHOOL GUARDS: if you want to stand out among a EXTREMELY crowded field
1. DEFEND. The entire length of the floor! Do it aggressively!
2. Touch the paint FREQUENTLY!
3. Make open shots! Consistently!
4. PUT YOUR TEAMMATES in better positions! Often!
5. Make the post entry when it’s there! It will catch the coaches eye!
Doc Rivers thinks European players are going to take over the NBA
“Young American players better watch out. The European players are better players coming into the league, they are more prepared coming into the league, and they are competitors. A lot of our young guys are not.”
