I was watching a video clip of Deputy CM sahib visiting some office, with cameras in full attendance. I could see him admonishing the officers for whatever reason, I don’t know.

Please can you ask him to stop broadcasting these events. The officers are members of the society. Someone is a father, a brother, a neighbour, a friend. Imagine when they return home. What will their loved ones ask them and what will they answer them. This is Nothing short of mental trauma for the entire family. This disdainful behaviour has to stop. Does he have a licence to humiliate people and embarrass them.

Let him go and do what he wants. Please stop the broadcast. This is a shame for the society that we live in. And nothing short of molestation of our polity.

Stop humiliating employees . And for heaven’s sake Stop the shameless broadcast of that humiliation.

The Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) strongly condemns the deeply disturbing incident in Bihar wherein the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Nitish Kumar, was seen removing the veil (hijab) of a Muslim woman doctor during a public function, an act that constitutes a serious violation of a woman’s dignity, bodily autonomy, and her constitutionally guaranteed rights to personal liberty, privacy, and freedom of religion; irrespective of intent or subsequent explanations, a woman’s attire—especially when it is an expression of faith and personal choice—is not open to public interference or coercion, least of all by a constitutional authority, and the fact that the victim was a medical professional attending an official function makes the act even more reprehensible and reflective of misuse of authority; JKPC also unequivocally condemns all those who are attempting to justify, dilute, or rationalise this conduct under any pretext, as no argument of ignorance, informality, age, or intent can defend an act that undermines a woman’s dignity and normalises intrusion into personal space, particularly of Muslim women; in a video statement, JKPC Organisational Secretary Sheikh Imran strongly condemned the incident and conveyed the clear message of our Qaid, Sajad Lone Sahib, that such acts will not be tolerated in a secular and democratic country, reiterating that respect for personal choice, religious freedom, and women’s dignity is non-negotiable and that any erosion of these constitutional values must be firmly and publicly opposed.

I watched a video where the Revenue Department demolished a Trout Fish Farm in Kalantarah, Tehsil kreeri Baramullah. Yes, it was state land — but why are demolitions always selective under the @JKNC_ government?

Why does a poor person always suffer? When powerful people encroach large stretches of state land, no law seems to apply to them. But when a poor man builds something through hard work to support his family, the law suddenly becomes ruthless.

In the video, the family is crying and shouting that they received no notice at all. Without any prior information or warning, their Trout Fish Farm was demolished. The condition of the entire family is heartbreaking.

This was not just a structure — it was a poor family’s only source of livelihood. Today, even that has been taken away.

Why does this keep happening?
Is the law only for the weak?
What is the @JKNC_ govt doing?

Freezing cold and huge rush of people at the Lok Adalat held in Kupwara.

Majority of the cases pertained to electricity bills. The promise made by the elected government to provide free power up to 200 units. The promise made by the elected government to give amnesty. All a pipe dream.

What exactly are we supposed to celebrate about Sheikh Abdullah?

He introduced reservations that weakened a merit-based system.
He started RBA; a completely flawed reservation that divided Kashmiris instead of uniting them. Villages of politically connected to NC were declared RBA, while genuinely deserving areas were ignored.

Sheikh Abdullah’s policies pushed Jammu & Kashmir backward, not forward.

A major setback for the Mufti camp and PDP. Their old badge of being Mukhbir and their long tradition of Mukhbiri couldn’t rescue their collapsing script.

Mr. Shafat Shangloo walks free, fully absolved. Every lever the Muftis pulled fell flat. Even after Dr. Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of Marhoom Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and sister of Mehbooba Mufti, resurfaced do MUKhBiRi after 30 years to identify Yasin Malik and push the case toward a hanging, nothing worked.

Instead, it is the PDP and the Muftis who now stand exposed for trying to bend history to suit their politics.

Yasin Malik’s Mukhbiri didn’t work but the Rajya Sabha cross-voting deal certainly did, clearing the way for a loyal chela to roam around the country with ease.
Anyone else with that kind of chargesheet would have been dusted and buried in jail.

But wah ji wah - Parivarvad politics gets selective Ashirwad.
