It’s not going to work, he said.
Vite Ramen was impossible.
Your dream, he said, would never come true.
---
8 years ago, I almost gave up.
6 years ago, Vite Ramen was the most successful edible food Kickstarter ever at $249,087, or 12.45% of what he’d said we needed. We gritted our teeth, rolled up our sleeves, and made it work anyway.
5 years ago, Vite Ramen launched to the general public as the first high protein ramen ever, delivering our v1.0 version and original 3 flavors across the US.
4 years ago, Vite Ramen won the Sacramento Innovation Award for Food and Ag, alongside our v1.2 launch that reinvented our flavors from the ground up.
3 years ago, our v3.0 version with aroma oils
was released, and is still the core recipe we use today.
2 years ago, we released our first new flavors: Sichuan Chili Edition and Beef Pho, then our first collaboration flavors with @Girl_Dm_ and @EckhartsLadder. We now have 12 flavors.
1 year ago, we made our first kitchen and cookware, including a kitchen knife I designed, apron, and cutting board, in collaboration with @OnigiriEn_ .
And today, we’re taking the next step forward. We’re not done yet.
Because even with imitators nipping at our heels, even with copycats fueled by tens of millions of venture capital and investor money, and even with everyone claiming ethical business isn’t possible in the cutthroat business of food, we endure. We grow. We never stop improving.
We’re here to prove that hard work matters, that you can do a lot with a little. We’re here to prove that money can’t buy passion, or skill, or tenacity.
Because, once more, we’re going to be doing what’s said to be impossible.
Today, we’re proud to announce:
Vite Ramen Pro+
The Highest Protein Ramen In The World.
Shoyu Tonkotsu:
460 Calories
42g Protein
6g Fiber
Savory Miso:
440 Calories

With rich, delicious broths built from the ground up for maximum flavor, the highest protein noodles in existence, and still made here in the USA by the small, passionate team that believes in people over profits, this new take on Vite Ramen is designed to make a high protein diet easier than ever.
Shelf stable, always ready for you, and taking only 3 minutes to make, Vite Ramen Pro+ is an ultra-high protein meal that you’ll actually want to eat, and infinitely customizable to your liking.

Never Stop Improving. Never Stop Growing. Get ready.
today was my (fuchsia) last time running a squidwest local, which i've been doing since 2016. i've met so many great people through these, and watching this organization grow has been amazing. i'm off to life outside the midwest, but i know squidwest will continue strong!
Doctors at a hospital in Texas informed George Pickering that his son was in a state of brain death. They explained that his son showed "no brain activity" and the decision had been made to remove life support.
Pickering, however, was unconvinced by their assessment and resorted to extreme measures by drawing a firearm. He demanded that the doctors continue their efforts to save his son's life, threatening to use the gun if they refused.
This situation escalated into a tense standoff lasting three hours, during which Pickering faced off against the police while the medical team performed additional tests on his son.
The hospital was secured under lockdown as police negotiators tried to reason with Pickering, who remained adamant. In a pivotal moment, Pickering's son, previously declared braindead, responded to his father's request to squeeze his hand, indicating cognitive presence. Following this revelation, Pickering peacefully surrendered to the authorities.
George Pickering II subsequently served a prison sentence of 11 months. Remarkably, his son experienced a complete recovery.
Life is too short to worry about stupid things. Have fun. Fall in love. Regret nothing, and don't let people bring you down. Study, think, create, and grow. Teach yourself and teach others.
Play this sport to live a longer life:
There was a 25-year-long study called the Copenhagen City Heart Study that tracked more than 8500 people who played a variety of sports.
They found that the sports that increased life expectancy the most were:
Tennis: 9.7 years
Badminton: 6.2 years
Soccer: 4.7 years
Cycling: 3.7 years
Swimming: 3.4 years
Jogging: 3.2 years
Calisthenics: 3.1 years
There are a few reasons why racquet sports dominate the top spots:
1. They are community-based. You play these sports with a group of people who eventually become your friends.
2. They are a form of zone 2 cardio, which has been shown to extend lifespan.
3. They relieve stress. You can't think of work or other stresses when playing these sports. You need to be present.
Add in the element of hand-to-eye coordination and you have a recipe for living longer both physically and mentally.
I don't know about you but I'm about to invest in a few pickleball racquets.
Shogun is making an amazing documentary series on the competitive Japanese Smash scene. I'm honored to have this opportunity to add English subtitles.
He posted an announcement video where he briefly talked about this project.
