@prof_di_chimica @chatbiology Visking tubing cut to about 5cm and tied tightly at each end to act as ‘model cells’ containing water or sucrose sol. Then soaked in water or sucrose solution. Find mass before and after soaking. Not only will mass change but the visible difference in volume is very noticable.
