At the flag raising ceremony today for 80th commemoration of D Day. Especially poignant for me remembering my brave uncle who I have the honour of being named after Sgt Vernon Coaker 23 killed 6th June 1944. One of the many heroes who protected our freedoms. Lest we forget.
