There's a vicious cycle in Washington: politicians trade stocks in the industries they're supposed to regulate, then protect those industries instead of you. That's why healthcare costs more, utility bills are skyrocketing, and corporations keep winning. Let's ban Congressional stock trading -- for good.
Rob Wittman just voted for the 5th time to continue the war in Iran. Gas prices are spiking, and Virginia families are paying for a war they never asked for. Enough is enough -- let's end this war and stop making Virginians foot the bill.
The energy at the Halifax Farmer’s Market was unmatched!
Nothing beats fresh local produce and connecting with the people who make our community great.
Fueling up for the fight for the common good! 🇺🇸

Honored to get in “Good Trouble” with Lynchburg Voter’s League, Indivisible, and all those carrying forward John Lewis’s call for liberty and justice for all.
Trump’s so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” will have devastating effects on Virginians’ access to healthcare and food assistance. Today, I convened a group of community-based organizations and philanthropies to discuss ways they can partner to address gaps left by the loss of federal funding and reach vulnerable populations. The Commonwealth has always met challenges through partnership and collaboration – and this will be no different.
Since day one, I have been focused on delivering for Virginians by lowering costs, delivering stability in the face of chaos from Washington, and investing in Virginia.
Six months in, and I'm just getting started.
Across every county, in every single community, we're working to lower costs, invest in Virginia, and deliver stability.
Six months in, and we're just getting started.
Today at Smith Mountain Lake, we updated Virginians on the ongoing, historic drought. This region has only seen a little over 50% of the rain expected by this time of year.
Our Commonwealth and local governments are hard at work to contend with this drought. This impacts us all.
Rob Wittman has spent nearly 20 years selling us out to line his own pockets. The rap sheet is clear:
– Increased his net worth 40x in Congress
– $60K tax break on his beach house, tucked into the budget bill he voted for
- $2.5 million in stock trades and violated the STOCK Act
- Meanwhile, premiums have doubled and tariffs are devastating farmers
and the list goes on...
I know we’re living in a time of great division. And this President, his administration, and his allies in Congress stoke that division on a daily basis.
If there’s one thing that can unify us, it is the notion that we want to keep our communities safe and strong.
Virginians don’t want another corrupt politician using their power to make themselves richer and Americans poorer. We need to #FireMcGuire and ban stock trading for members of Congress
Million of dollars in relief is coming to communities devastated by Tropical Storm Helene.
As Virginians continue rebuilding their lives, these disaster relief grants will help provide families and localities with the long-term support they need to fully recover.
I am committed to supporting these communities, restoring what was lost, and building resilience so that when future storms come, Virginia is better prepared.

Virginia is a leader in energy policy.
We passed a first-of-its-kind energy consumption tax on data centers.
And now, we're going to be the first state to run a group buying program for home solar and battery storage.
We're taking real action to address high energy costs for Virginians and working to meet rising energy demand across the Commonwealth.

Washington is supposed to work for the people, not self-serving politicians.
That’s why I came up with my Anti-Corruption Agenda. It tackles the system that has allowed politicians to serve themselves, instead of the people they represent.
It’s time to fire Rob Wittman, and put the people FIRST.
