One last thought on that you are now wanting to uninstall the app because you think you are dealing with an AI ( and if it is getting so good now that it can bring you your AI utopia, wow, is that a compliment, I guess) wow, that was a fun ride getting to see your mental gymnastics.
Dude, look at all my typos for God's sake. I am sorry my logic is more sound than your emotions, but I, as a very dyslexic person, have managed to give you pretty well-articulated arguments supported by facts and screenshots to back them up. All you have done is say fail to respond with anything more than Elon bad, and he is stealing your money, yeah maybe he is, but all he does with that money is send shit into space.
@L9FRIENDLYSTYLE@w8153328 How does anything I just said have to do with, and I quote, "sunshine and rainbows"? I was simply responding to your post, saying this is not about winning or losing or whatever it said. I then responded to your other post separately.
Regarding the tech existing on a rover, yes, little ones on Mars, yes, this is more of a person-sized one with the thoughts and concerns about the safety of the person inside, and not just to keep the tech working, so not the same thing. Regarding this being theater, aka a production to get people to pay you for the show you put on, how is that not the same thing as me saying, yes, this was a show to get investors and engineers on board with a rover program? Aka my original post on this that started this all. Can, for the love of all that is good in this world can you articulate what you mean by he is taking us for a ride to get money. Because unless you elaborate on that thought, it is called fundraising.
Duh, the car is useless. I said that it is useless on this planet due to, oh, I don't know, the number of accidents that would be caused by people watching it take off and not watching the road alone, not to mention that I have no idea how this will get legislators to approve this tech for everyday drivers like me and you. Elon puts everything in space; hell, he already put his own Roadster in space once. He wants to put data centers in space; hell, he wants to be buried on Mars, so he wants to put himself in space. Under that logic alone, it is a pretty good bet her will put this tech in space, and since he showed us this tech on a vehicle, the next logical step is a rover. And do not think I did not take note of your obfuscation of him being in the running for who brings you your AI-made socialist utopia. The future is not bleak, and ironically, history will probably tell the same story of Elon as it does of the Rockefellers, Carnegies, and so on. And yes, you did the child's way of saying I lose by conceding ground on the Flying vehicle and changing the subject to AI. It is okay; as I said, you fought valiantly.
@HankC88475@Myamaha62Randy@mickhelmick4 I mean, hell, he already has one Tesla Roadster in space; what doesn't he put into space? He wants to put data centers in space; he wants to be buried on Mars, so he has to want to put himself in space.
You fought valiantly, and thank you for what I am sure almost made you pick to do, and that was to concede the ground. As far as AI goes, I do not disagree, and if it is capable of getting us to a point, and unlike every fucking politician ever, accurately showing us the math and how it will work, instead of electing me because I have a plan that I can not share beyond taxing the rich and no more wars. I will be willing to hear it out. But we are not there, and hell, the man you hate most is one of the leading guys for what you are advocating for with AI. Like, I do not know how old you are, but you need to learn to not cut off your nose despite your face.
Dude... where else would this tech be useful and not pointless to have, because it will be made illegal and almost useless by the design of our Highway and road infrastructure? Like, for one second, imagine even if this is an automated safety fetcher control only by a computer. More people would get into accidents while watching the car fly through the air because they are not watching the road. This tech only has a few places you can use it. And not many people are going to pay to just use it on private property.
Name anything you consider a great human accomplishment, and almost every time throughout history, it has been funded by the biggest assholes on the planet. Whether it be Kings, Queens, robber barons, hell, the modern way of life is mostly due to the Rockefellers and Carnegie. I think we would all consider them assholes to the first degree. I get, and I understand that you do not like it or like him, but that is just the way shit gets done. For good or bad, it is just that. And I swear to all that is holy, if you bring up communism or socialism, I am going to reach through this phone and slap you. The founders/ first implumenters of both of those are assholes by their death count alone.
How does your reply have absolutely nothing to do with the comment you replied to, and you're still trying to come off as smug? Wow, it was a real tech demo that I believe has next to zero chance of going to market as advertised, and then I looked at all the other shit he does, and almost all of it goes to space at this point. So I logically said, well, since there is no way rocket jets will be legal on the streets, this makes more sense as a tech demo for a likely rover program.
If it does take till 2040 to have sustained human inhabitation of the Moon, that is still impressive, so I will not argue with your timeline, as if we pull this off within +/- 6 years of our aim, whatever. As for why, does it benefit the everyday person? Why is easy, if for no other reason, to encourage and inspire the next generations to aim to do the impossible. As for the everyday people, I guess that depends on what industries pop up around us doing this and also what we learn from doing this. We must do these things. Wanderlust is what brings you everything you think is amazing, because someone somewhere said, " Well, this sounds cool; let's see what it takes to do it.
Yes, and we never managed to do this and the other thing, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, and we did it within the decade. We have had people living continuously on the International Space Station for most of my life. We know how to do this. The travel time sucks more to the Moon, but that is more about the cadence of launches than it is a hard thing to do. You are just a flat-Earther equivalent, miserable contrarian, who, no matter what evidence is placed before you, will say, but ahhh....
@karl_abj They are making them still and for this brand and modle they are sold out for this and next year. This was the site the link exhibit A takes you to.
@karl_abj I gave you links where you or I could buy them. Just because you can not afford it does not mean you can not buy it. Meaning a consumer can buy it just not you broke dumbass.
