@BringBackBanjoK Need to realize Nintendo doesn’t have infinite resources. They have so many IP’s demanding their attention that it’s difficult to expand without neglecting even more IP’s than they already do.
@Ruleof2Review People who never got to experience arcades going up don’t understand that this is a game intended to be played in a single sitting. But also replayed many times with the beating the high score mentality.
@iMikeZero This argument is fair, however presents something even worse; ignorance of accessibility. How is someone who’s deaf supposed to hear that audio cue? I get that some of the old visual cues are excessive, but some sort of visual should be present.
@MADkurious I preorder digital because it’ll download a week early all on its own so on release day I don’t have to wait for it to download and I don’t have to deal with overwhelmed store servers.
@necrolipe The same thing happened to Prime 4. Several dropped scores because they compared it to what they wanted it to be instead of just evaluating what it was.
@RinoTheBouncer I see nothing wrong with high quality, forever playable games being $80. These types of games could net you entertainment at a cost of less than $0.08 per hour
@AvoidTIMtation Goes on sale every quarter. Wait for one if it matters that much to you to not spend $60 on a game that can yield 1,000 hours of gameplay.
@YuriPeCosta@nin10doland Of course but critics only play once then grade it. The critic score is going to reflect that whereas the user score will probably be much higher.
@NintyPrime Which is why I think monetizing social media was the worst thing to do for humanity. Psychology says rage bait is the fastest way to make big money through “engagement”.
@AezzieUwU As for minimum wage, less than 1% of Americans workers are paid minimum wage. And most of those are working in jobs suffocated by tip reliance culture. Obviously minimum wage is mostly unnecessary.
@ArcedPendulum@NintyPrime That could be true. It could also be true that a contract with Nintendo didn’t get done at the same time because Nintendo wasn’t playing ball with this whole account shenanigans.
