Amazing to me that the tribes have a total disregard for the sovereign rights of OKLAHOMA. The tribes have no inherent legal right to class III gaming. It was given to them by the same federal law that gave the state the power to negotiate rates.

Tribes win in court and the best case is that things stay the same. Downside is they lose in court and there is a 20% revenue share in OK just as the tribes propose to voluntary pay in Arkansas. Quite a gamble even for people that control gambling in the state.

Circling back on the rush of OK tribes to build casinos in Arkansas. So are tribes really saying they need to continue a 6% rate in OK to generate HUGE $$$ so they can afford to go out of state and pay 20%? Even crazier that 20% and then still requires building new casinos.

Gambling is NOT a sovereign right of the tribes. It has nothing to do with what is done solely by tribal members on a tribal reservation. Federal law controls which has caused huge problems in diminishing the sovereign rights of the state of OKlahoma.
