@Ridas_lt@KevinNe89235115@ThorgrimStlfist@veizau Agree to disagree. I think that, inherently, jokes like that can’t be funny, considering their punchline is that “joking about doing something” premise.
People can joke bout whatever they want, but those specific remarks QT made can’t be funny if they rely on that given premise.
@BiSubaru Right? Like people who genuinely think Re: Zero should end with Subaru having a harem are genuinely insane. WE do not claim those re zero fans
@Ridas_lt@KevinNe89235115@ThorgrimStlfist@veizau Also there’s a difference between a joke and “joking.” A joke, too me, inherently has real qualities that one can interpret as funny, whether people actually find it funny or not. Joking is simply lying with a particular tone
@Ridas_lt@KevinNe89235115@ThorgrimStlfist@veizau The only problem with what you’re saying is that joking about doing something negative by default isn’t a proper joke. If someone could form a joke where the whole joke was that they’ll do something bad AND they managed to make it qualify as a joke/funny, then good on them. But
@Ridas_lt@KevinNe89235115@ThorgrimStlfist@veizau Other jokes, whether they be racist or offensive in a way aren’t funny because they hurt people’s feelings. They’re funny because of the structure of the joke, the delivery, and the intellect behind the joke. A joke isn’t funny if the joke itself is simply put joking about
@nicgraham23@rezero_ice Idk I’m also an anime only, but perhaps her partition is real or maybe it’s because earlier Subaru poured his heart out to Beatrice and Anastasia, where he mentioned that he was summoned from another world
Re: Zero affected me so much not only did I give up on a generational milk hate run, but I started drinking it every night and even started drinking whey in milk. All this because Subaru-sama said "Milk. Cold." and EMT said "Milk. Warm."
"This anime changed my life" but actually
