As the parent of an LGBTQ+ youth I am deeply concerned about the implications of the passing of this bill. Our children need to feel safe and supported in their schools. I sincerely hope Sununu sticks to his word and vetoes. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

[Linds Jakows @LindsJakows]

When I was in high school, I knew it wasn’t safe to come out to my dad. If there was a parental rights law on the books in AZ then, my high school would have outed me. ☎️ Call Governor Sununu 603-271-2121 today + tell him he must veto HB 1431 to protect LGBTQ youth! #NHPolitics

[Clifton West Jr @CliftonWestJr]

This bill is nothing but an outright attack and criminalization of our LGBTQIA+ youth in this state. @GovChrisSununu/@ChrisSununu time for you to step up and support our youth by VETOING HB1431. #NHPolitics

Can I tell ya how proud I am of @Ash4Rochester? She had to endure sexual harassment and threats from a fellow city councilor for months. However, Ashley had the courage & strength to speak up & today, her & other councilors removed him from the Rochester City Council. #NHPolitics

[Councilor Robbie Warach @RobbieForDover]

The revenues generated by the NH Rooms & Meals tax provide significant tax relief to NH's cities and towns. It is essentially the only source of revenue the State earns from out-of-state tourists other than the liquor & wine outlets. 🧵 #NHPolitics

Held a low-key and early Galentine’s brunch today - best part was the ability to raise $$$ for abortion funds that we’ll be donating to @ReproFundNH . Abortion is healthcare.

Child marriage is wrong — but unbelievably it's still legal in many states. In 2018, I recognized Granite Stater Cassie Levesque for her work to overturn these laws, and I'm proud to see her continue this important work.
