Today I join my @law360union colleagues in a walkout to protest illegal, heartless layoffs initiated even as our company brags about its profit growth. My @Law360 team was cut in half. You can support my friends and colleagues here: https://t.co/pcfcdUhwpG #Layoffs360
The big brains up at @law360 have decided to lay off 26 unionized employees before finalizing a complete contract. Not legal! @law360union has walked off the job in response.
WORK STOPPAGE: Unionized workers at @Law360 have walked out in protest of layoffs that violate law. Read the details here....... https://t.co/2N0Vdwv7uI
Some ~personal~ labor news...
My union at Law360 has overwhelmingly authorized our bargaining committee to call a strike. After management dragged it's heels over more than a year of negotiations for a new CBA, we voted 263-12 to authorize a strike in a vote with 96% turnout
The only movement that management has made since contract negotiations began 15 months ago was to announce layoffs on top of record profits. I stand in solidarity with my newsroom colleagues in preparing to strike if things don't get better.
Hi all, I'm currently looking for potential roles in the journalism field. I love writing and am not yet ready to part ways with it. If you know of any remote or south Louisiana based positions please drop me a line. Job hunting was not on my 2024 bingo but here we are
Gee I'd love to read this story but instead I'm standing in solidarity with the 200+ editorial staff at @Law360 who are on strike today.
Law360 reporters are some of the best in the business. They deserve a fair contract with reasonable raises + benefits. #Law360walkout
@Law360@law360union Lotta folks forgoing wages today to fight for a fair contract even though they can't really afford to do that. Lend a hand here:

The big brains up at @Law360 apparently don't read much of our coverage at Employment Authority, or else they'd know it's both hella expensive and dumb as hell to fuck with your employees. @law360union's on a one-day Unfair Labor Practice strike -- don't cross that picket line
Law360 union members are sacrificing their pay for the day to take action against management’s unfair practices. Members who are struggling with stagnant salaries will need help getting by. Consider donating to our hardship fund. https://t.co/4tNRx9ZY58
It’s been over a year of bargaining and @Law360’s management has refused to bargain important proposals in good faith. So we’re walking out! #Law360walkout2023
The big brains up in @Law360 management have gone nearly a year (!!!) without responding to the Law360 union's sick leave, parental leave, retirement benefits and PTO proposals. Corny! Shameful! Anyway here's a graphic detailing how embarrassing our parental leave policy is.
As Juneteenth settles into its third year as a federal holiday, @LexisNexis continues to refuse to give employees the day off to celebrate and reflect. The company touts its diversity measures, but it comes across as little more than lip service. #RELXDiversity#LNDiversity
A great big "nice work fellas" to the big brains up at @LexisNexis, who have decided for the third year running that Juneteenth is the only federal holiday not worth honoring. Love my parent company's commitment to #RELXDiversity#LNDiversity
This is the third year that Juneteenth is a federal holiday, and it's also the third year that our parent company @LexisNexis is refusing to recognize it as such. So much for Lexis' stated commitment to diversity and inclusion! #RELXDiversity#LNDiversity
