@hunterhammonds just popping on your feed to say thank you for teaching how to provide constructive feedback with kindness. The design community needs more people like you. Love from Toronto.
@robably__ If I had no other options, I’d go with the one on left. The subtle dark overlay background for the headline under makes reading the headline smoother vs on the one on the right. But, I could be wrong here if there were other things to consider here.
@Betraydan Yes Dan. I think it’s called the optical vertical alignment of sorts.( even though it’s off by a px or two). Our eyes are weird in someways isn’t it, also beautiful.
@usrnk1 I’m leaning more on B. Coz it provides a bit more separation from the other tabs with its added visual depth (gradient-light-ish stroke value). But I could be wrong!
@StartupArchive_ This is like a goldmine advice. Thanks folks ! Loved every bit of it. I got a question— how does one motivate themselves to keep getting better at being a barrel and what can the individual do so that their team/peers or managers notices their barrel-ness (if you like).
To itch or not to itch, and more importantly— how much itching is good. At times it’s nice to itch, coz it gives us comfort and pleasure. And at times we itch so much deep (coz of pleasure/comfort), that we make our skin peel and gotta take care of that wound/ or even see a doc. I know it’s a bit graphic (sorry) but it makes me think on these lines.
@adriankuleszo That’s such a unique and beautiful way to imagine that. Bravo. Seriously! It’s almost like new businesses must consider slightly more investment in better UI while entering a market which may already be very saturated. This way you get more market cap.
@aleksliving 1000000% agree. Similarly, there’s a special place in Heaven for hiring managers and recruiters who provide feedback after interview. It’s okay if they take longer than 10mins ;)
