@washghost1 The Ford Focus Powershift transmission is a pile of garbage. I had a 2014 - transmission replaced twice under warranty and and died 2 weeks after the extended 7 yr warranty ended. Used Telsa model 3's with low mileage under 25K. I have a model 3 running well after 8 years.

@HustleBitch_ I have an '06 which is the same as the '07 in the video. I've owned it since new and it still runs like it did when bought. No problems with the motor or transmission and only a very minor issues with with a torn CV boot and a frozen parking brake assembly. Awesome vehicle!

@GigaBeers I think the easiest way to resolve is to look at your local building codes and see if this is allowed. I would presume the plumber has pulled a permit and city/county will inspect. But I also agree that it seems like PEX would have been choice.

@VigilantFox The full body scanners at the airports do not use x-rays. They use a 27 GHz radar which is a non- ionizing radiation which, unlike x-rays, are not energetic enough to affect cellular structures such as DNA. The radiation from the flight itself is much more concerning issue.

@future42org The latent affect is people heading into retirement will decide to leave the state. Why hand a huge chunk of the wealth that was accumulated over a lifetime to the state versus the family or charities. Once the wealth leaves, it's not coming back.

@Noahpinion From the graph, looks to me like hybrids are the big winner. Same trend happening the US. I've owned a BEV for almost 8 years. Great commuter around town but terrible for trips. Won't be buying another once the battery goes kaput.
