Even though Christopher Nolan casted Lupita to play a beautiful woman, I don't think he truly see's Lupita as beautiful. Why do I say that? Because he plopped a nasty wig on her head to cover her kinky 4c hair.

I get it, you want to be progressive and show off black people in film (so you can qualify for awards), however, I don't think The Odyssey is the right film for that.

The message is loud and clear though. As a black woman, the only way you can be "the most beautiful woman in the world," is by attaching a wig to your head.
