I had a conversation recently where we were talking about Canadians having their ability to communicate online limited, where many people said that’s not true, and even @johncleese chimed in.
This is what I was talking about.

The Canadian Online News Act prevents people from sharing news links on Facebook and Instagram.
The stated purpose is to force tech companies to pay news outlets for their work, but to me that doesn’t even make sense. Posting links on social media drives traffic. The more people post links, the more traffic your news site gets.
What stopping people from posting links absolutely does, is limit the ability of people to spread information.
Then there’s the “Online Harms Act”
Which even The Atlantic described as “Canada’s Extremist Attack On Free Speech”
https://t.co/pFtYKKN1nH
In the article they state: “A bill making its way through the Canadian Parliament would impose draconian criminal penalties on hate speech and curtail people’s liberty in order to stop crimes they haven’t yet committed.”
These are the things I was talking about. It’s a slippery slope, and it’s moving in the wrong direction for the people of Canada.
Mark Carney is doing a round of international interviews today (BBC, CNN, etc).
He's basically representing himself as the de facto Prime Minister of Canada.
And the Canadian mainstream media are promoting this.
The guy has 3 passports, doesn't live in Canada and isn't even an elected Member of Parliament.
This is bonkers.
"Speaking as a European, I'd like to say the following..."
When Mark Carney is palling around with his WEF chums, he doesn't even identify as Canadian.
Canadian father was told his kid had no chance to survive and they were going to take his kid off life support and harvest his organs
The father took his kid to a New Orleans hospital where the kid recovered in 30 days
Canadian healthcare is a disgrace
The other day I saw LeBlanc claim that illegal crossings from Canada are less than 1% of the problem.
It’s not true by any measure.
What’s worse is, the Trudeau government is using different measurements than the Americans.
Here’s Border Czar Tom Homan
🇨🇦🇺🇸”What if” Trump did this would you go?🤔
First he deports millions of illegals.
Then Offers a Deal to Canadian Born Canadians with Birth Certificates who want to move to the US.
Give them 1-1 exchange for their dollars they bring with them.
And fast track citizenship.
He would essentially clean out the upper and the middle class.
It would probably take 20 or 25% of the most productive highest tax paying Canadians and businesses out of the country and then essentially the country would collapse.
Trump gets 5-10 million middle to upper middle class who will vote Republican and pay taxes.
He gets the right age who can't afford a home in Canada.
Canada is “left” with foreign students, foreign workers, asylum seekers, government workers, unions and immigrants all voting for freebies and handouts.
It will be a Liberal NDP utopia similar to the one called Venezuela but only worse.
And maybe later he makes it a Territory.
This seems appropriate tonight as the Trudeau government admits to a $61.9 billion deficit.
Remember back in 2015 when Stephen Harper warned us that Trudeau would bring about non-stop deficits.
He was right.
NDP says they are ready to vote non-confidence at the end of February/early March
Hilarious timing considering that Jagmeet Singh qualifies for his pension on February 25th LOL
The corruption of these people is absolutely unreal
This is how herd mentality works!
There’s a fascinating experiment where an unsuspecting person steps into an elevator. Everyone else inside—actors in on the trick—looks away from the door, facing a mirror instead. It only takes a few floors before the lone individual abandons common sense and follows the crowd, turning toward the wrong direction.
This is the essence of herd mentality: people parroting what they think is correct simply because everyone else does it. Social pressure drowns out critical thinking. This behavior is rampant—on X, in politics, and in society at large.
But true integrity means resisting this pull. It means thinking critically and refusing to be manipulated by larger players with agendas. During COVID, I didn’t cave to the narrative. I stood firm. And I’ll do the same when it comes to the climate scam, electric cars, media-driven conflicts like the Russia-Ukraine war, and even cultural taboos like speaking out against a minority that’s literally owning the majority of American congressmen.
As a scientist, I rely on data, logic, and evidence—not slogans or trends. That’s why I’m hard to manipulate. It’s not about following the crowd; it’s about standing for the truth, no matter how unpopular it may seem.
@LynnGilmartin@ClubWPTGold@WPT While in the line up to register in the ladies NAPT last week I spotted someone who dropped an item that rolled under another booth. I singled a worker to retrieve it and then gave direction by sign language who it belong to 😁 in the massive line up! Happy ending
