The Editors Guild of India sent a 3 member fact finding team to Manipur. It’s report was critical of the state govt handling of the ethnic violence and also critical of the coverage by a large section of the state media. There can always be legitimate disagreements over contents of report but to file a police case against the fact finding team and the EGI president is a brazen misuse of police powers. This is India, NOT China: browbeating media into submission is injurious to health of Indian democracy.

Wanting Sanju Samson in the team over SKY is not fan request but it's the multitasking, flexibility and freedom Sanju adds to the team combination. He brings liberty to shuffle combinations if other two wicketkeepers hit the bad form.

Sanju can keep the wickets along with batting. If Ishan or Rahul aren't scoring runs, then you can play Sanju and add another specialist batter for them. But if Sanju is not in the team, you will desperately have to play Ishan and Rahul for keeping sake despite bad form.

Moreover, Sanju and Surya both play the same role in middle order. Both can hit the ball equally well but we know Sanju can even play anchor if needed that SKY isn't able to.

If you have one spot in team, why wouldn't you want a player who can do multitasking instead of a player who approaches the game in just one way? Inclusion of Surya limits your options but Sanju opens a lot more.
