📱Commercial agents are becoming storytellers.
This week, we kicked off with a hands-on training session helping commercial agents in Arua District harness the power of their smartphones for content creation.
Public accountability is a framework that empowers citizens to question, challenge, and demand better governance.
Today, we kickstarted our public accountability and transparency (PAT) training for urban journalists.
This training led by Leonard Imanishimwe empowered the journalists with skills on how to cover governance, transparency, and citizen rights with more depth and impact.
📱Every product has a story worth telling.
Today in Yumbe, commercial agents sharpened their mobile storytelling skills, learning how to create engaging content, showcase their products and also highlight the real impact of their work in communities.

"Unemployment is a consistent issue in our country. The government boasts of various measures in place, and that itself signals the disconnect."— Opening remarks of our Hub Director, @GabrielIguma.
Today, together with our partners @SensitiseUg, @FarajaAfricaFdn, @Kayese256, and @IMChallengeug under the Programme on Accountability, Civic Engagement and Rights (#PACER), we hosted the Annual National Stakeholders' Breakfast Dialogue under the Youth Inclusion, Governance and Accountability (#YIGAProject).
The dialogue brought together government representatives including @Mglsd_UG , civil society actors, and youth leaders from Karamoja and West Nile.
The theme: : “Youth Unemployment: A Perspective Of Government Wealth Creation Initiatives And Inclusive Governance For Sustainable Development.”
Youth unemployment is not a new problem. The programmes exist, but young people aren't feeling them. That gap between policy and lived reality is exactly what today was designed to address.
This work is made possible with the generous support of the Embassies of @DKinUganda, @SwedeninUG, @NLinUganda, and @IrlEmbUganda.
