The reason for the ADL’s existence is understandable, but was also always problematic in that it functions as an organization to defend the civil rights of American Jews qua Jews; those rights of other groups being less of a priority, and so, the ADL’s function not being to defend civil rights per se.

Now? The ADL’s systematic and legal conflation of criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism, as well as it’s not simply functioning as a pro-Jewish but pro-Zionist organization would make it a candidate for the kind of entity that (going only from allegations) the SPLC has been made out to be.

And, for all I know, the SPLC very well might have weaponized racism and other species of bigotry to justify its existence as an anti-bigotry organization by means of misappropriation of funds, misleading donors, etc.

Yet, and if so, you remain certain that no one in the “non-Woke right” would not resist the ADL to be subjected to the same level of scrutiny if grounds for similar allegations and charges were to be found?

Not that I can imagine that being done by the Justice Department of this demonstrably right-wing, but more specifically, Zionist administration.
