I can personally vouch for the rising trend of not providing opportunities to Kannadigas.

My dad and I boarded an auto to the hospital through an app. The driver briefly spoke to us in Hindi to confirm the destination.

My dad I were chatting in kannada, and hé was telling me about a shorter route to which the auto driver responded in Kannada, asking if we preferred that route over the one we were taking.

We asked him how he knew to communicate in Kannada when his profile listed only Hindi and English. He said, “If I mention Kannada, they don’t book my auto.”

This isn’t a problem at the company level alone.
I am glad our CM is taking cognizance of this growing trend.
