I know GTA6 has a lot of hype and is part of a beloved series but I really don't understand how people can think it'll be the greatest game of all time.
Going off the rest of the series and what we've seen of this game, it doesn't seem to do anything revolutionary or particularly unique, and I didn't find GTA5 to be particularly great as it was.
Narratively there are truly special games like Fatamoru which tackles forgiveness, religious zealotry, identity, sexual trauma, Signalis covers similar themes, what it means to be human, stories that change you as a person, gameplay-wise there are games that master one element like DMC or Sekiro, games that offer massive variety like 2077 or Elden Ring.
Many of these titles do multiple of these things at once.
Idk man, I grew up with Vice City and San Andreas but as I got older I really grew out of GTA and ever since I just don't see what everyone else sees in them, not from lack of trying. I'm sure GTA fans will love it but for me I don't see it being anything special.
Nodus Fall is getting backlash and is being accused by players of copypaste Elden Ring following its reveal.
People is calling it โGacha Elden Ringโ or โElden Ring from Wish.โ
Players have found similarities in the dark fantasy world, enemy designs, combat and some of the scenes shown in the trailer. Several monsters have also been compared to specific Elden Ring bosses.
the fascinating thing about finally reading berserk was realizing how little from dark souls actually borrowed from it while elden ring was far more deliberately drawing from its themes to build onto
@ScarletNoct While I agree that people are using this as a weird opportunity to be racist, my dislike for Nodus Falls 100% comes from the fact that they're ripping off a game I really love
